Mahwah Snap Fitness Center

The format of this type of review is a bit awkward for the use of a continuing service, such as a fitness center. While my first appointment was on 5/22/13, I have been attending the facilities on a regular basis of 3 to 4 times per week since then. I usually meet with my personal trainer, Ari, about once per week, although more often at the outset. This is not a single appointment service.
For a novice, such as myself, I feel that the services of a personal trainer are indispensable. In addition to explaining the proper use of the equipment, he also explains what muscle groups are being exercised with each type, how to vary the exercises to develop certain muscles over others, and how to prevent you from inadvertently injuring yourself. This could be fairly easy to do without proper guidance. Ari is also very patient and encourages you to learn the correct technique and form for each exercise in order to derive the greatest benefit. This has been a significant factor in my progress.
Since joining the gym in May, I have lost about two inches off of my waist and about ten pounds. Currently, my waist size is now 32and quot;, and my weight is about 175 lbs. Although I'm nearly where I want to be in terms of these parameters, I intend to continue on with the gym indefinitely, so that I am able to maintain my physical condition as I age further. I'll be 60 next week! I think that the most appealing thing about Mahwah SNAP Fitness Center, is the fact that they are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This allows clients to attend at their convenience, rather than all piling in simultaneously so that they can get a turn at the equipment before closing. SNAP doesn't close. You can go whenever you like. Furthermore, the facilities are very well kept and always clean. It's not a large and overwhelming place, which I personally prefer. It's seldom crowded due to the very flexible hours, and for most hours of the day and evening, there are always very friendly and helpful staff available for questions or whatever guidance you may require. Of course, there are several large flat screen TVs in the cardio-equipment area. Aerobic exercise can be pretty boring without this. To reiterate, although I have no prior experience using gyms, I cannot see what could possibly be lacking at Mahwah SNAP Fitness Center, unless you're looking for a pool or a sauna or something of that nature. Then, you'll have to look elsewhere. But for me, Mahwah SNAP meets all of my requirements at a reasonable cost. By the way, there are a few different plans available at different costs. If you prefer, you can buy a month at a time if you're not sure if you'll like it or want to stick with it. This is what I did initially. However, I recently changed my plan to the one year duration, which saved me some money. However, I liked the ability to start off with the monthly plan so that I could decide whether or not I like the Mahwah SNAP Fitness Center. I do.

It is a chain, and they have multiple locations. They are reasonably priced; it is very good. They are in a former retail store, and it is a very small facility; it is not very expansive. Their quality is fair, and their communication and customer service are very good. They are very professional. I would use them again in the future.
