John Canfora home improvement contractor

Based on the recommendation of neighbors, I hired this local contractor to remodel my condominium. From the get-go, I felt he was non-communicative and non-responsive to my concerns. I am extremely dissatisfied with the job he has done (i.e. cracked kitchen cabinets; very, very poor paint job, etc.) in addition to damaged personal items and ruined furniture. One of the reasons I hired him, was that I was told how neat he was and how he cleaned up every night before he went home. I did not find that to be the case and in fact, found that he displayed a total disregard for me, for my home and for my personal belongings. When he was finished (in his mind), he did not ask me if everything was OK; if there was anything I wanted addressed or if I was happy with his work. He just decided he was done. He also walked out on the job (leaving with me an unfinished/non-functioning kitchen and bathroom), then came back and still, there remains many, many issues he's not addressed.
