 + -1 moreMike, the owner, is absolutely great. The cost was reasonable, he comes promptly, and is really an excellent flooring professional. I've used him for about 20 years now and would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: They installed a new oak floor and refinished several older floors. They also matched both new and old areas.

Description of Work: Planning to have provider stain and refinish our 120+ year old hardwood floors in September. We both decided July/August was too muggy and given my family's vacation schedule, it made sense to put it off until the fall. Mike was very professional, punctual and easy to deal with. His estimate was the most reasonable and he was very understanding about delaying the project. I value his experience and judgement - and love the examples of his previous client's work - and am excited to work with him come September! Definitely recommend having him in for an estimate - you will be glad you did.

Description of Work: removed old carpet, sanded and finished in a natural tone with 3 coats of oil based polyurethane...looks great.! He cleaned up all the mess, including all the carpeting. When he came to give the estimate he was prompt and prepared. There were some small repairs that were not included in the original estimate, yet he stuck with the original amount and wow, who does that...he was all around great...I'd recommend him to all my friends.

 + 0 moreIt went perfectly as it always does with this tradesman. He is my go to floor person. In the past where others had made mistakes in blending different oaks...and others were (thankfully) reluctant to take on doing the different areas because of potential difficulties in achieving uniform results (because of prior mistakes of other floor installation people who installed red vs. white oak or different grades)....this guy nailed it 100%. Done at a fair price, at the appointed time and most professionally. Elderly Mr. Norton, of Norton's paint, when I originally sought someone...advise...."there is only one guy"....and this is the guy. He also did work for another friend in Bergenfield who raved about the results and service.

 + 0 moreThey are always very pleasant. I have found from a cost standpoint they are always very fair, not cheap or expensive, just fair. I wanted to do something special with a dark wood emphasis and they were very creative.
Description of Work: They refinished the hardwood floors throughout our house when we purchased it. They blended the job a previous company had messed up. They installed the floor on two separate extensions in our house. They blended everything!
