Mrs. Bellezza quoted me a price of $45 per hour. They accommodated my need for quick response and responded the afternoon of our discussion. The crew of 5 was at my home for 1 1/2 hours. I called the office to report the time the crew left my property and left a message as to their arrival and departure time. When I received the invoice I was shocked to see the bill for $382 + cost of disposal. I was then provided an explanation that the cost was per MAN hour, a specific piece of information not provided when I requested the quote. I find it exorbitant that I would be charged $45 per hour per person for people to rake/blow the leaves and debris from flower beds. Additionally, one of the workers tore the leaves off of the hellebores and after I told him to stop, he continued until all of the leaves were torn off. My discussion with Mrs. Bellezza following the service upon receipt of the bill was unprofessional and unproductive. She continued to insist she quoted me per MAN hour, when she did not. Apart from the damage to my plants, the beds do look good, but I was disappointed they were not clear about their prices and unprofessional when I questioned the bill.
He over charged for leaf-clean-up, his crew was there for about 35 minutes each time and charged a full hour, then a tree fell from the storm and charged us $3,888 (which is not part of my $4,000 lawn contract) to take care of it, then he came for the last leaf clean-up and charged us 1 1/2 hour to clean leaves which were not leaves but twigs fron the fallen tree which should have been included in the tree removal price of $3,888, a 4th leaf clean-up was not necessary, since the storm wind blew them all off the trees early.
His crew came back to trim a few trees, and had to climb up the trees, and as they cut the limbs they let them fall on my yard and made a few deep holes in the lawn, they just left without filling in the holes.
I know a few homeowners that previously used his service in my town, and have since discontinued his service.
All in all my lawn did not look any better then before I hired Allan Bellezza Contracting
