I  wish that the price was lower, but I can't do anything about that. you know the work done is excellent and I've been using them since 2005.  Well i guess the price was lower but I dont do anything about that. The work done was excellent.

They did a good job but only for oil change and inspection of the tires etc so it's no major repair just normal maintenance so far.

Be very careful if they try to tell you that you need brakes.  Told me that my car, only 15,000 miles, needed rear brakes and rotors, which they could do right away for $680.   Did not offer a reasonable answer as to why the brakes could go so fast.

Decided to get another opinion and went to a repair shop that was listed in the AAA website as a recommended service site.

They looked at the car and told me the brakes were fine, even offered to put it in writing and didn't charge to look at the car.  Called Madison Honda back and they said that they would be glad to take a look again to make sure their mechanic made the right call the first time.   Then offered to give me a break on the price if I got the work done.

ok for oil changes and warranty work, but get a second opinion for anything else

They take walk-ins. Need not take appointments for minor things. Service is good and I haven't had any problems.

Went fine. I waited for the car. Friendly and helpful. They seem to be very efficient and have their operation under control. I haven't had any serious work done but for everything I have had seem to be not rock bottom but not abnormally high.

We were very pleased with the service and help at Madison Honda. There are no hidden fees when buying a vehicle. They are very up front and helpful. We had a great experience and would recommend them.

I received an oil change from Madison Honda a month ago. The car was making a noise, I took it to my local mechanic and there was 2 1/2 quarts of extra oil in my Accord. If my mechanic didn't catch this it could have ruined my car!
I've gone in there for a few oil changes because it is convenient. However buyer be warned, they will always tell you there is something wrong with your car when there is not! They told me I need brakes which were recently done the month before by my local mechanic. The manager of service Mr. Brian Parente blamed his technician. Nice move. It's all part of the business model. They get you in for a quick oil change and try to nail you on repairs you don't need.
I bought two cars here and this is how they treat me. Don't go here!
I'll buy a Subaru next and have it serviced by my local mechanic.

Awful, they performed diagnostics and told me that my power steering pump and steering rack needed to be replaced ($2000), that my brakes needed to be resurfaced, the power line from the battery needed to be replaced ($385). They told me that the power steering wasn't covered under the CPO program, I'm so agitated that a car with only 38000 miles would need this type of work, and that Honda wouldn't offer to replace if since it literally just came off warranty, but that's not why I rated them low since I understand that's their policy. I rated them low because of the prices they wanted to charge me. Instead I brought the car to Morris Plains Automotive who I trust, they did the power steering for $650, and fixed the power line for $100, and they used original Honda parts. Madison Honda is a ripoff.

I purchased the car after the lease was over and through that time all of the service and repairs was done at Madison Honda. Their parts and service technician goes over line by line everything that was done on the car, so before I pay for the work everything is gone over. That is very comforting for me.

I have had my Pilot for nearly 7 years, and Madison Honda has always been very professional. However, they are costly, because they are a dealership.
Everything they do is wonderful (and their waiting room is very comfy!), but I am balancing taking my car to them with taking it to Looz Auto Repair in Union now that my car is getting older. It just seems like Honda wants to push me to buying a new car rather than maintaining what I have, and I can't afford new car payments just yet.
If you have a newish car, they're great. If you are maintaining a paid-off car, take your auto-baby to a good mechanic like Looz.
