At the beginning there were a few phone calls that weren't returned promptly, but once the project started they forecast what needed to be done, did it when they promised, did it professionally - and at a cost about half what other providers quoted. The process was: 1. Identify the trees that need to be removed or pruned. 2. Cut down those trees that could be left to fall to the ground - didn't need a crane. 3. Cut those trees into manageable lengths. 4. Scale trees whose removal will require a crane; cut off all the branches. 5. Pulverize these branches. 6. Bring in a crane to take down the tallest trees - taller than a two-story house. Scale the tree, attach a strong rope to the top; attach the crane to the rope; cut off the top half; crane lowers the top half to the ground; affix a strong rope to the remaining tree; cut tree at the ground; crane lowers bottom half to the ground. 7. Grind all the stumps. 8. Haul away the logs - because tulip trees aren't good for firewood. 9. Clean up the grounds - hauling away and/or pulverizing the debris.
