S&E Landscaping

They did pretty good, they're local and they came every couple of weeks. They have done my lawn cutting for the past several years. It's $50 every two weeks.

We have used Adam in the past (for 2 years) and he was excellent - really, really pleased with his work.  Last year, however, we called at our usual time and scheduled a time for an estimate.  The estimate was fine and we scheduled a time to start the work. The work was never done because they kept missing their dates.  I had to chase them to ask them about a new date - it was not a proactive experience at all.  So we ended up using someone else because it was August and we were desperate. They never even called us to find out if we still wanted their services.  All in all, we had two great years with "A" rated experience and last year was a total disaster.

I sent in the deposit in on Aug 8th and waited. By the end of August nothing was done yet so I called and left a msg. A few days later emailed and asked when they could get started, and I was told in about a week. I waited again and after a few more emails, I was finally told on 8/21 that the selective herbicide would be sprayed on 8/23 or 8/24, and it was. I knew 7 days must pass before they can do anything more soI waited again until 9/10 and emailed asking when work would get started Sand E was procuring a truck for the stone. On 9/11 I got a message that the stone will be dropped off on 9/12 and the work would be done done on Friday 9/14. Sand E arrived as promised on 9/14 and performed a very good job on all the landscape and stone work.
Once I received the bill however I did notice the invoice provided did not take into account the down payment on the work (1/3 of the total before taxes). I printed a copy of the deposited check (the 1/3 down payment), subtracted that amount from the total and sent in the remaining balance. I wish the work could have been done quicker, but overall I'm satisfied with the work done and would certainly give Sand E more jobs should they come along.

The owner came out and I told him what I wanted done. He gave me some great suggestions which made the mulch look fantastic. He wrote up an estimate and I gave him a deposit. He said they would call me when they were ready. In a few weeks, a large crew came and spent the entire day working. I was very pleased with the results and service. I choose them based on the ratings and reviews on Angies's List and I was not let down. I highly recommend them.

They are very good. They are very dependable and very reasonable. They did a good job. They pretty much did everything for me and it really looks nice. The guys are very nice. I plan to use them again in the future.
