Hiring Valley Generators to install an outlet for my portable generator was a terrible mistake. It has been 2 months since I foolishly paid in full, up front for work that I was told would be handled in 1 week. The job is still, at this point not finished. Initially, the work began fast. But then the communication slowed to a trickle despite my repeated pleas to Marc to finish the job. After too many broken promises to count, the actual simple installation was completed 3 weeks later. Since then, it has been 5 more weeks of broken promises to get the paperwork filed with the township so that the inspection could be requested. It became apparent to me that the paperwork was not ever going to be handled by Valley despite the repeated claims of I will do it first thing tomorrow morning. I had to go to the township office myself to try to resolve it and the building dept. told me that the contractor would be fined if they do not complete the paperwork. Please do not let yourself go through this with Valley. you will be sorry. There are other reputable companies to work with. BEWARE of Valley Generator Consulting. Update 12-30-2021 The update is the day after I visited the building department I spoke to Valley Consulting, and shared with them what the building department said, Then within 2 days Valley Consulting then took care of the paper work!

Marc is very professional and knowledgeable about generators.

We have a 7500W Generac portable generator which needed repair because fuel was leaking out of the carburetor at rest. Marc was always courteous on the phone, but it took more than a week to pick up with assurances every day that it would be picked up the next. It was returned just before a big storm (after 3 weeks), having had a complete service including ultrasonic cleaning. I wrote a check for $270. The next day we lost power, and the generator ran for 45 minutes before stopping, then another 30 minutes before stopping. It would not restart. Marc said he would come but did not and that was ten days ago. Fortunately we were able to borrow a friends generator. I would expect that the generator would have been tested properly before being returned, and it was not. No attempt has been made to rectify the situation.

My project is already done. The contractor we hired did a great job, as I said in my review.

Valley installed portable generator interlock. Had to chase them a bit, but happy with results so far. They are coming back to extend nat gas line for generator. They know what they are doing

He picked up my generator and never returned it. Have called numerous times and he will not return my call. Next step is filing a claim. How he achieved these ratings is beyond me.

We had a scheduled 7:45 AM appointment but they never showed or contacted us to postpone / expain. Eventually by midday while I was at work I got a call from the technician and authorized his service of our generator on the phone. I also paid by card on the phone. Overall I'm satisfied but a bit more customer-oriented communication would be nice.

Came quickly ,did a great job and gave me pointers on how to service it moving forward.

Fastest repair we have ever had and it was right before the big snowstorm. We actually got it back in a matter of 4-5 days; and I was worried about the storm and losing power. We didn't lose power, but if we did we were ready thanks to the fast service.
