Josh's work is excellent. He was prompt in terms of returning my call, coming out to give an estimate and ultimately in getting the two jobs done. His price beat out another local plumber. He even answered questions on my fireplace that the other plumber wouldn't answer unless I paid a service call. Josh had no problem taking the time to explain to me how to get it started and even called on his way out to let me know where it vented. I would definitely use him again. His work is impeccable. His prices are great and he goes out of his way to help his customers.

Josh was responsive and professional. Both plumbing needs were addressed on time, the later on the same day. I would use Drake Plumbing again.

Josh had the good fortune of expanding his family right as we began working together. Because of this, he took some time off, understandably of course. Once he returned to work however, he was impossible to get a hold of. Emails, calls, texts, all would go days and days without being answered. When he would answer, his responses would be incomplete, incorrect, or unclear. He was clearly being stretched very thin but didn't have courtesy to deny work that he couldn't handle at the time. Working with him became very frustrating. When we finally did nail down dates for his work, I specified I needed the work done in 2 days because we had guests arriving late that week, which he said wouldn't be a problem. On the first day, he arrived 2 hours late, and the second day an hour late. I had to have our project coordinator call him on the second day as he was preparing to leave at 5pm to remind him that the work needed to be completed as our guests would arrive the next morning and would not be able to use their bathroom in the shape he was leaving it. Even still, he didn't complete the rest of the work on time. He had to return the following week to complete to do 2 jobs (as well as install a reordered part after it arrived which wasn't his fault). His finished work was adequate, all fixtures were secure and done properly. Once he started, his work quality was good. However, he seemed to underestimate how long he needs to complete the work. Given the amount of frustration caused leading up to the job and the fact that he didn't complete in the time despite several reminders, unless something related to his current work needs to be addressed, I wouldn't hire again.
Response from Drake Plumbing & Heating Inc
"I am sorry you feel this way about the job that was completed. When I first went out to look at the job I stated very clearly to the designer that I was scheduled to have a baby right around the start date of the job. Well she came early. That threw a wrench in the schedule for this job. I know the customer had a dead line so I completed the job less then a week after becoming a father. We always do the best I can with what I am dealt. This customer would not respond to texts until many hours after they were sent. I may have been late getting to the job but I also stayed late to complete the job for the customers guest. Plumbing can be a very difficult thing to estimate the time it will take to complete. Although I think I have gotten pretty good at it by working in the business for almost 20 years, sometimes things don't got according to plan and jobs take longer then estimated. I did not charge the customer and extra cent for the overage. I work very hard to accommodate and please my customers. This job came a very busy time in my life and I did the best I could."

Outstanding! They showed up on time. He made pluming connections through the water and the drain, shower room trims, and did granite vanity top replacement. They did what they promised to do, and honored the original price. They also cleaned up very well after the job, and are very professional.
