Very well done and communicated effectively to keep us informed.

Everything went very well. His work was very professional and neat. He answered all my concerns and questions and was happy to address any concerns that I had. He also met with my wife and I at different vendors so that we could select whatever products that we wanted. He was always on time and polite. And, at the end of the day, he fully cleaned up the work area. I would definitely recommend him and wish that there were more guys like him.

Matt and his team were great. He was the only contractor after about 5-6 other estimates that spent the time explaining everything to us and also who actually got on our roof and gave us different options. He stayed for the entire duration of the project and made sure we were satisfied after and during. I would recommend Matt again and will be using him in the future for other projects!

My wife and I hired Matthew Walker of Compass Contracting to replace our windows, a sliding glass patio door, and to replace our deteriorating wood siding with vinyl. The jobsite was kept safe and uncluttered with a thorough clean up at the end of each day. During the demo phase he discovered a severely water damaged section of exterior wall that was next to the chimney, the damage was hidden from the inside by a floor to ceiling interior brick wall. The sheathing and studs literally crumbled in your hands, the reason was an improperly flashed chimney. Matt quickly framed out and replaced about 6-8 feet of our exterior wall, then removed and properly replaced the flashing around the chimney and we were soon weathertight. This and other work not in the original contract were handled quickly, professionally, and most important very reasonably. Matt did a fantastic job and our house looks amazing! About a year or so later my wife and I noticed some water spots on the ceiling around our skylights and we quickly called on Compass Contracting again. The culprit once again was improper flashing covered by tons of silicon. This roof was only about ten years old and obviously whoever put it down did not know what they were doing. It was a very easy decision to have Matt replace the roof and skylights the right way. My wife and I are very confident in Matts knowledge and craftsmanship that we will never again have to worry about water getting into our home. We would highly recommend Matt from Compass Contracting for any remodeling project.

Matt did an excellent job with the remodeling of the kitchen. He provided solutions to some complications we had with the construction; completed the job in a punctual manner; and followed up to make sure that there were no outstanding issues. It went very well, a container was used for the removed material and everything was completed in a neat, clean and timely manner. The bonus was that no interior redecorating was required after the installation of the Anderson "original construction" windows. They fit perfectly. Minor plumbing and electric work was required do to the location of the sliding doors installation as there was a baseboard heating convector there.

The experience was great. Work was done on time and with expertise.
