They worked all day and the poles are now stabilized and ready for painting.  Excellent carpentry work!  Would highly recommend them and would definitely use them in the future.

He did some fine patch and touch-up work carefully dried the compound and applied two (2) coats of paint in a careful workman like manner. Upon completion he cleaned up packed up and waited for pickup without interruption. Although it was only a small job I was quite pleased with the work and will calling them again when the weather warms up for some additional outside jobs.

I watched all the work.  Ed and Francisco first carefully cleaned out a bottom rotted 2 ft section without damaging the quarter round.  They then cut to exact size the replacement pieces, inserted and nailed them in place, caulked all joints, and primed the replacement section.  All this was done while on a ladder. Very professional and well done. I would recommend their services without reservation.

Everything went very well. I thought they were a little on the high side cost wise but I was pleased with the work they did. I paid an additional cost of around $700 because they recommended I cover the replaced board with aluminum, it’s like an aluminum siding trim. I still thought it was too high a trim for 2 garage doors. They did a good job. They were on time and they showed up for the estimate and for the work exactly when they said they would. The one day we had bad weather, they called to cancel ahead of time. The only negative thing was a little difficulty with English, there was a little difficulty having conversation. On the appraisal, they did bring somebody with them that spoke fluent English but when he was here and he was trying to explain some of the things he wanted to do, he didn’t know the exact words. But the quality of the work was very good.

They did a good job and they came when they said they would. They finished in a few hours. They were polite and I had no complaints. I paid additional for the work. The price seemed reasonable. It was very fine quality.

Johnny worked diligently, rarely taking a brake. He did an excellent job "cutting in," as well as painting walls & ceilings, and cleaning up each day.

I have an apartment building.  I had a contractor that came and couldn't finish the work.  These guys came, braving the many snowstorms we had this winter.  They were able to get job done.  I did my comparison shopping and these guys were the most reasonable on top of that.  After the job they would come by to make sure everything was okay.  I plan on using them for my other apartments.

They were very professional.  They worked very hard and long hours.  And the prices were very reasonable.  I've since used them on many projects.

Great job on the ceilings. Both the ceilings and walls were an afterthought since we originally signed up for their $99 one room special paint job.  We had most of the house painted about 5 years ago (skipped the ceilings), so we decided to go for it.  also, The additional walls we asked them to do because the first job (5 years ago) turned out too pink.  The only issue I have was caused by me, and I will keep it in mind for the next person I hire to do something, because it happened once before.  That is, E.T.C quoted $1500 to paint the walls, and said they couldn't come down because it would take them another three days.  Well, it took them less than two days, so I guess I should have asked them "Well, how much if it only takes two?"  My mistake.  Generally, they did a very good job, except I wasn't happy that they left their trash (paint cans, etc.) in large contractor bags for me to carry down my 700 ft. driveway. I think they should have hauled that away.  Also, they put trash in my clearly marked recycle can that I had to then dig out.

Great experience from start to finish with etc home improvememnt.  I love the fact that it was them chasing me to set a date for the job - it's usually the other way around.  The bathroom job was pretty straight forward - they applied 2 coats of paint and left the room spotless.  The study was a complex job as we wanted small sections of the crown molding painted a diff color on all four walls.  Again, qualiy work with a spotless well painted room at the end.
We have contracted with them for job #3 this Friday.

Francisco and Eddy from Etc. were very friendly and professional. All the work was done meticulously. Prior to painting they did spackling and sanding. They were very neat prepping (they used drop cloths on all furniture as well as placing drop cloths in the hallway and up the stairs) and cleaning up. All work was done neatly. The sheetrock was done perfectly with no seams showing. I would definitely use Etc again would highly recommend them.

I highly recommend ETC. They spent extra time prepping my walls and ceiling to ensure a quality job before painting. I would absolutely use them again for a home improvement project.

Scheduling was good. There were a couple of snow storms so we had to reschedule, but that wasn't their fault. It took them one day to complete the work.

When they came in, they said that the ceiling was not included and that would be extra. They told me they would send me a quote, which was for $200. When they came and did the work, which was good, I mentioned that I paid the Big Deal already, so I should only owe another $100, but they told me that the $200 was extra on top of the Big Deal, which surprised me. However, the guys were really nice and did a good job.

They are a first class operation. Could not be happier with the quality of work they did. Very professional. Would easily hire them back.

Excellent.  The price was for 2 coats but they did what it took to get the job done.  I would use them again.

The crew did a great job. Very reliable and did very meticulous work. Place really looked great when they were done and they did a great job cleaning up. Would recommend them highly.

To start off, they were good.  They were punctual.  They contacted me and came out right away to assess the work.  They showed up a little early to do the work.  Starting out, they were pretty efficient. They put down blankets to cover the carpet.  Everything seemed fine while they were painting but upon completion of the work there were about 10-15 spots of carpet that had paint on it.  They did try to get the paint out themselves but were unsuccessful.  When we opened up our closet, there was a good layer of dust on everything in our closet that we had to clean ourselves from the spackling and sanding.  To be totally honest, we were able to get some of the small spots up ourselves but there are still some areas that are stained. The paint job was great but the carelessness of the workers is what frustrated me.

It is really disappointing to see the companies response to my review as I feel they are pretty much calling me a liar. To say the stains were present before they started couldn't be further from the truth, especially when they did admit to me, at my house, that they caused the stains, which are the exact same color as the paint on the walls.  The other fact I find disturbing, is they claim "the paint we use" would come out with a wet rag. Well, for this job, they did not purchase the paint, I did. So the paint they use for other jobs may be water based paint and may come out on other people's carpets, but to make that claim for my situation is completely false. Very disappointing and shocking that they are "resolving" the issue this way. How about at least refunding the cost of the job, since I now have to replace the carpet myself.

They came out right away to measure the area and gave me an estimate within just a couple of days. I was able to keep in contact over the weekend. I was given what I think was a very fair estimate for the bigger paint job I wanted. I have had other, higher, quotes in the past and online estimators also showed ETC's quote to be on the low side. I gave them the whole job based on their attitude and some examples of other projects they presented and the previous good Angie Lists reviews helped a lot in making the decision. They scheduled the project one week after I purchased the deal, on the day I wanted.  I had no problem reaching them on the cell from the paint store when I had a question the night before the job. They also would have picked up the paint if I chose that.
Edmilson, Francisco and crew were prompt (even having to drive through a snow storm), courteous and professional. They were very considerate and neat. They put down floor and furniture covers quickly and  plastic sheets up to shield the rooms that were not involved in the painting. They even made a (free) minor repair to my attic ceiling access panel. They were patient with my having to keep my cats locked up in one room, then relocate to another so the doors could get painted. I also felt comfortable leaving for a short time to pick up my kids from school.
The job was finished in one day. This also included a decent amount of spackling and hole-filling / smoothing. The room and hallway were transformed just like that. They cleaned up and even wet-wiped the floor down. They were also a very pleasant group, seemingly to get along well and have a good rapport with each other and playing nice music on the radio, singing along, etc. I would recommend them without hesitation and plan to call them up after the new year for more projects. I really appreciated that they also understood my dilemma with some issues with these future projects I discussed and had valuable advise on how they could handle these.

I have worked with several people who come and rush on the job all the time to do incomplete jobs. people not interested in their work and purely for money sake, watching clock all the time.
these guys were pretty good. The first two hours I was thinking these guys would be done painting the the 12X12 room and went upstairs to checkout when these guys were just done prepping the wall. Things inside the room were neatly wrapped. I have seen people complaining all the time to move this that But these guys were pretty good.
I am going to give them my final remodelling job which is bigger than this. I am sure it will go through fine.

Mr. Dacosta and his crew did a fantastic job.  My wife and I are very satisfied with his work.  After he completed all work he cleaned up very nicely.  There were no specks of paint on the floor or any surfaces.  Would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
