We were entirely happy with all of the work that was done at our home. The work was started a little earlier than anticipated and it was completed when they said it would be. Everyone was extremely polite and at the end of each day, everything was left clean and neat. Any inquiries or issues were dealt with quickly and professionally. We have recommended this company to neighbors and our to our son. We would definitely use Carpenters Touch for our next project.

We replaced our vinyl siding and wood trim with Hardie plank siding and Azek trim boards. I was happy with the project from start to finish. Their proposal was very detailed (including pictures), competitively priced, and covered everything we talked about. If I had questions or wanted to make changes to the proposal, they responded quickly and were very accommodating. Once the work started, they delivered on everything they said they would. They showed up every day, worked hard, and provided quality work. They take pride in their work and it shows. I'm glad I chose Carpenter's Touch and I'm very happy with the finished product!

Fantastic Service! We were getting some moisture in our home, and it was obviously coming through the roof somewhere. It wasn't an actual leak, but we could see bubbles in the plaster. We would only work with a GAF Master Elite roofing contractor, and I was at my wits' end trying for months to get a roofer to come out to take a look and try to figure out and (hopefully) fix the problem. Nobody would pay any attention to us, because we are not yet ready for a new roof, and it was "only a repair." I finally called The Carpenter's Touch in November, and the very nice lady who manages the office told me they were booked solid, but to call back after New Year's. I called the second week of January, and she not only remembered me, but actually put us on the schedule! Junior and his team diagnosed the problems, figured out a creative solution, and came back as soon as the temperature rose to completely repair our seepage problems for a very reasonable cost. The whole team was very professional and a real pleasure to do business with. They were courteous to my wife and left no mess behind. You can be sure that when we are ready for a new GAF roof, we will be calling Junior and The Carpenter's Touch!

The whole project went quick once we were able to schedule the initial meeting to estimate the job. Junior quoted a fair price and we signed the contract and the work was scheduled and completed in less than 1 week. The team did a good job and they cleaned up after the project. I would highly recommend them.

We are extremely pleased with our entire experience with The Carpenter's Touch. Neff was very responsive and quick to provide an estimate. We received several bids and found TCT to be very fair. Once contracted, they quickly set a date to begin and once the project started, they were here everyday from morning to evening until the project was completed. Our roof was in bad shape and they took good care to replace plywood that had water damage and to ensure that proper flashing was installed where previous vendors had done improperly. The roof looks great and the customer service was wonderful. Very nice and professional group to work with. Would definitely recommend them to others.

Fantastic. Work was done with minimal wear and tear on property considering the huge amount of heavy debris created by this kind of project. Used magnets to make sure all nails picked up. Redesigned venting. Owner was present on the job. Update: Work done for window replacement 09/15/2023 He did a fantastic work. Very clean and there's no dust and dirt and he is on time. He gives estimates and sticks to it. He said he will be here and he really came and he is very professional.

Junior and his team at The Carpenter's Touch recently overhauled the exterior of our home. The team did a fantastic job stripping the exterior and then installing a standing seam metal roof, James Hardie siding, Azec trim, and Integrity windows. They also designed and built a new overhang for the entryway based on photos that we provided. The house turned out great. We would highly recommend The Carpenter's Touch to others, not only because of the quality of the work, but also because of Junior's integrity and the efforts he made to ensure that we were happy with the end result. The team was also very courteous during the project, always taking shoes off when working in the house on window trim, sending photos with updates when we weren't home, and cleaning up thoroughly at the end of each day. We would not hesitate to use them again for future projects.

Everything went great! The estimate was done very quickly and was really reasonable. We were able to schedule the roof repair with little hassle. On the day of construction, the crew showed up early, worked the whole time, and were done by early afternoon! They cleaned everything up and made sure that we were happy with the job. Couldn't have made the whole process easier!!

After a bad rain storm we realized that we had multiple leaks in our roof. Since it was late October we needed to quickly decide to either patch the roof now and reroof in the spring or reroof now. The weather in November ended up being unseasonably warm so we moved quickly for a reroof now. I first submitted a request for quotes through GAF Quick Quotes and received back three quotes in two days. I then contacted a contractor that reroofed my last house and another that a coworker recently used. The five quotes for my job ranged from $9000 – $19000. Four of the contractors were GAF certified which was important to me. I work for GAF and know that only our best contractors get into the Master Elite program. It also requires that not only the owner go through GAF training but a certain percentage of the crew actually working on the roof must also be trained. The lowest quote was from a non-certified roofer that I lost confidence in once I stared asking questions about how they planned to do the flashing, attic ventilation and ice and water shield. The highest quote came from a contractor that added way more than we needed to the quote such as all new trim, new cupola, soffits, etc. The middle three quotes were all very similar so it really came down to who I trusted most and thought would do the best job. Untimely I choose The Carpenter’s Touch. Neff contacted me promptly after receiving my info from Quick Quotes. We setup an appointment and he arrived right on time. Neff looked at the roof and we discussed my concerns. For the attic ventilation he considered both attic exhaust and intake. Lots of contractors will put on a ridge vent with no concern for intake. My roof does not have soffit vents so he gave me a couple of good options to consider. For the ice and water shield he recommended new gutters since my gutters were undersized for my roof and it would allow them to wrap the ice and water shield behind the gutters to prevent fascia board damage if the gutters backed up and help prevent ice damning. Our roof has a section where the roof meets a vertical wall (attached one story garage connected to a two story house). This is an area on a roof that is vulnerable to leaks and needs to be flashed correctly. For the flashing he recommended removing two layers of cedar shakes, running the ice and water shield up behind the shakes, adding step flashing, replacing the shakes and then adding some decretive flashing. This is correct way to waterproof this area however many roofer will take shortcuts because this is a time consuming process. For the actual roof installation a large crew showed up first thing in the morning and got started quickly protecting the landscaping and tearing off the roof. The crew was friendly and answered all my questions. It took about a day and a half to replace the roof and then another day and a half to replace the cedar shakes and install the decorative flashing. The whole job took about three days. They cleaned everything up and did everything by the book. Most people have to replace a roof once in their lifetime, twice if they are unlucky. I feel confident that The Carpenter’s Touch did everything possible to help ensure this is the last roof I will have to replace.

The team showed up as promised, covered up the roof area, covered up the area inside the house and installed the skylight within a few hours, then vacuumed everything afterwards. Everything went really well!

Contractor came to house the day before job to make sure there were no surprises. Protected Harry Helmet guards. Found plywood on main roof had to be replaced. Contractor videoed the roof with his cell phone so I could see the damage. Extra work was billed at contracted price. Cleanup and protection of house plantings was great. They covered everything in attic with plastic before starting. Some minor collateral damage to flower beds but nothing that can't recover. Crew worked closely together as a team. Finished entire job in one day. They were fastidious about making sure they picked up all of the nails with large magnets. Even came back after dumpster was removed to get the nails that may have slipped under it. I also had him install sun tunnel in windowless bathroom. I just love it.

Excellent group of people to work with. Professional, Courteous, Honest and good workers. Junior, the owner is straight-forward and reliable. Danny and Neff are two young assistants that visit the job site when Junior is not present to supervised. The roofers are hard workers and know what they were doing. Overall, I was please with my experience with this company and will recommend it to friends and people I know.

Junior was recommended to us by family and friends in town. Needless to say, their recommendation could not have been better. Junior's quote was lower than anyone else we received, and when I say the work was done professionally and punctual and that Junior provides timely responses I could not be more truthful. Junior, first, recommended we get an Owens Corning Roof over GAF Timberline, and explained all of the reasons why the Owens Corning SureNail technology was better at preventing a blow out. The workers showed up at 850am on the scheduled day and were ready to work by 9. As they removed my roof, they found plenty of issues with plywood and they think pieces of the original roof from the 1930s. However, Junior and his team worked through all issues, explained all additional all charges [for Plywood] and why they were necessary, and ensured that his team was ready to work on Saturday when the job could not be completed in one day. I would hire Junior for another job in a second, and would advise anyone reading this to do the same, as I felt like Junior treated me as a project done for family and not a first-name client. Thank you Carpenters Touch! My new roof looks fantastic and I don't need to find out what could happen with an old roof anymore.
