He led me to believe he was bringing in people to do the work who were experienced, but he brought in people who did not know what they were doing.  Until the actual paving the work was all satisfactory.  When the paving was done the asphalt that came was substandard.  The person who applied it was inexperienced in doing circular driveways.  They were actually a demo subcontractor who I was assured had done many driveways.  I later found out the only driveways they had done were straight driveways, not circular.  The appearance of the driveway is very unsatisfactory because the machines they used did not leave a smooth, uniform surface.  Everything is very uneven and unattractive with ripples and streaks throughout the entire surface.  Ultimately, his supplier reimbursed him for the subpar materials that were used for the driveway, but he did not refund us any of our cost to have the driveway work redone, which was what I requested.  He did assure me that he would pay to have the work redone, but since then he has disappeared.  When trying to find more information about his company, I saw on the internet that there were other individuals who had similar problems with him.
