We needed some work done in order to help sell our house. Sal understood our needs and was always punctual, responsive and his rates were very competitive especially given the short time frame we gave him to work under.

I think that Foremost will come out in emergency situation. When I have needed somebody here immediately they have always been responsible. Their prices are high as they come on an emergency basis. I will use them again during emergencies.

On February 24th, I smelled diesel smoke coming from my heat vents and knew that it was an "expensive" smell. I called my oil provider with whom I have a service contract. The service technician confirmed what I feared--that I had a cracked heat exchanger and would need a new furnace. I called their office the next day and spoke to them about converting to propane (they also sell propane). They told me that they no longer do furnace installations so I asked for a reference to someone who could do it. They referred me to Foremost. On Saturday morning, I called Foremost and the telephone operator had the "on call" person return my call. Within 2 hours, Sal was at my house and we were discussing my options. He told me that the reason I was having trouble with furnaces was that I didn't have sufficient return air so the furnace was over heating. He proposed adding a return air duct and vent and installing a 95% efficient furnace. He was able shuffle his schedule and to contact my heating oil/propane company and arrange for them to install propane tanks on Monday. I was certainly impressed! Unfortunately, even though Foremost came to my house on Monday to remove the old furnace and begin prep work, Mother Nature decided to throw in a monkey wrench and neither the propane company nor the furnace supply house in central NJ would come out during the heavy snow storm so the final installation was delayed by a day. I had heat by Tuesday afternoon. Because the new furnace works differently from my old (oversized) furnace, Foremost came back the following Monday to verify that everything was working correctly. I am impressed by Sal and all of the employees that I have dealt with. They're all polite, professional and friendly. They did a great job under less than ideal conditions -- very cold, snowy, and my basement is small, cramped and cluttered.

A Foremost Plumbing & Heating didn't replace the right thing and we had to hire another company to finish their work. We thought they should have at least paid half of the bill, but they didn't. We even spoke to the owner and he didn't make things right for us. We feel we were duped by them.
