Century 21 Van Der Wende Associates

Listed our home with agent John Reilly of Century 21 Van der Wende b/c I believed his knowledge of & experience in the area would be an asset.  Mistake.  The desciption of our home on the various listing websites was cheesy & lazy.  There was incorrect information about the home on both the websites & on the flyers for potential buyers, both of which I had to point out!  I discovered later, upon visting homes for sale in my own search, that I didn't have certain things that should be provided by a good agent - booties for people to put over their shoes when coming into the house, a copy of the seller's disclosure, a copy of the MLS listing, high-quality glossy brochure, etc.
I was pushed to accept a lowball offer from a buyer who I suspected wasn't qualified or serious and I did accept which was my own fault.  These buyers and their attorney were difficult and had unreasonable requests from the beginning but our agent kept pushing me to give in to them.  The buyers ended up cancelling the contract.  Iwas then lucky enough to find great buyers & sold my home.  Again, my agent would try to convince me to concede but I held firm this time & it was fine.  He CLEARLY had only his paychcek in mind & not my best interests!
Once the inspection was finished, I heard from him maybe one or two more times.  No check in to say hello, see how things were going, nothing.  He was away for the final walkthrough & closing and sent another agent who checked his phone through the entire thing.  The worst is that he didn't reach out afterward to say congrats, have a nice life, nothing.  
As I said, he clearly only cared about his paycheck & dropped me like a hot potato once the deal was set.  I have already advised people in the area looking to sell their homes not to bother.
