The service was excellent. In fact, I had a landscaper and he even commented on how well it was done. They did the work shortly after I purchased the Big Deal. I think I paid more than the original service for additional pruning. I paid $200 more. They did a very good job.

They gave me very quick response. Free estimate. Very friendly. They did the job very efficiently and effectively. Cleaned up everything after the job was done.

Martin and his worker came on time and listened to what we wanted in regards to the pruning of the plum tree as it is in our front yard. We didn't want to have too much come off of the tree or lose its overall shape and become ugly. The plum tree was pruned wonderfully. They were able cut the large branches off the big tree in the back yard without any damage to my neighbor's gazebo under it. They cleaned up after themselves and, while some smaller branches got left behind, they did a good job there too.

Answered phone on first call. I had one large limb that was dangerously broken off. He came within 48 hr and took care of everything well. Based on neighbors work, his price was excellent.
Very polite, took care of a few things beyond the limb that he saw needed work (treated like his own home).
He is now my go-to guy for tree work. I'll be recommending him to others.

The initial part of getting scheduling done was less than optimal. I purchased the deal, specified three workable dates for the work to be done, and heard nothing back. I called the provider two days after I purchased to find out when he could come out for an estimate and to schedule, and he told me that he'd already been to my house and given an estimate to my wife. Which is fine, I just wish he would have let me know. We scheduled work to be done for Friday, 5/23.
Friday came and my wife, who was at home, told me that nobody had arrived yet. I called Sergio again and he told me that he had to cancel due to the possibility of rain - again, I had to call him to find out what was up. Moreover, it was well enough in the AM that it could have been done, but when I spoke with him he told me that he had made the call to cancel the previous night based on the weather forecast.
I get the fact that tree/garden work is not really doable if it was stormy as the weather said, but the lack of communication really got me here. Problem is that I had scheduled the work and purchased the deal based on the possibility of getting it done before Saturday, so I could do some planting. Sergio said that he would get his guys out to my house for 8 AM Saturday 5/24 - which would be fine, I'd still probably be able to plant but it was cutting it close. Saturday AM wasn't supposed to be rainy, but Saturday PM was when we'd get a bunch of thunderstorms.
As of 8:30 AM, nobody had showed up. I called Sergio again, and he said that he couldn't give me an ETA - his reasoning was "sometimes there are bigger jobs, or delays." At that point I told him I was somewhat unhappy with the way things had gone thus far with the fact that I always had to call him for an update or info, the fact that we were getting pushed back, and the fact that I was only going with him rather than J&W or Cheap Tree Service - my normal tree service companies - because of the deal and the possibility of getting things done. My schedule was now more or less shot up and I told him so.
I asked him to have his people call me when they were en route with an ETA. I got a call about two hours later. I was literally alt-tabbing on other Big Deals from J&W so I could cancel this one and try with a more reliable provider next week. They were lucky, I was a few minutes from calling to cancel everything.
The crew arrived at around 10:45, within their ETA, and got straight to work. They were done just shy of noon. They did a better job than J&W did when they came to take out my forsythia, and they left less junk and crap behind. Seriously, I was stunned at the high qualtiy and precision work they did. There wasn't anything wrong with the surrounding area, they didn't dig up excess grass or dirt, and the soil is well aerated. No sign of any shrubs.
The work performed far outweighed the low quality of the back office. I don't think I'd give them another shot unless I had a very real discount (and a very real need - all the shrubs I want are gone and I have no trees that need trimming by a third party) and a lot more scheduling leeway.

The service was very good. The workers were on time, very polite and professional, and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them to other members.

Beyond wonderful. I've hired other companies to do the same thing, to trim it back and it cost more as well not near the quality of work that he did.
