KONDRACKI PLUMBING & HEATING

Shower was leaking thru floor into basement. Called on Friday night and Joe said he would look at it Saturday afternoon and he would call after noontime to tell us what time he would be there. We waited until 2pm on Saturday. No show, no phone call and when I tried to call him, I didn't even get a voicemail. If you are not interested in doing the job, you should learn how to say and quot;noand quot; so I could have called someone else sooner.

I used this company when my wife and I first purchased our home. They converted our oil furnace into a gas furnace and they removed my oil tank from the basemant. The overall experience with this company was excellent. I must admit, that my first thought when I met the plumber was and quot;uh oh, this guy looks like a sloband quot;. However, I take that back after talking with him and having him perform the work on our home. He is just a hard worker that doesn't really take time to worry about his appearance with a uniform or anything like that.- Anyway, back to the work performed, they did the transfer of the furnace and all the work involved with that for approximately $5,500.00. They were clean and they left no signs that they had even been in the house. The plumber does smoke, but when i asked him not to smoke in the house he had no problem with that. (he never lit up in the house, i just asked him before he entered the house) We had them come back in an emergency to do our water heater. They showed up in no time at all and had a new water heater installed in about 3 hours from the time that I called them. That was so great! I commented that they had an A in all categories except for responsiveness and punctuality. I gave them B's for both categories only because in my eyes, you only deserve an A if you never missed a call and were always early or on time. This plumber was responsive, but I didn't get him on the first call every time. He did call me back in an acceptable amount of time though. He was also a little late on the first time that he came, but I can agree that that was acceptable due to not knowing the exact location of my home.
THIS PLUMBER IS THE ONLY PLUMBER THAT WE WOULD THINK OF USING AFTER HEARING ABOUT BAD EXPERIENCE'S. I ALSO WROTE THIS REVIEW BECAUSE HE WAS GIVEN AN F BY SOME OTHER PERSON AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN GET THE SERVICES FROM HIM AND LEFT NO REVIEW THAT EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM. I THINK THAT SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED ON THIS SITE.

I GOT A PROMPT RESPONSE AFTER MY FIRST CALL. I DIDN'T REALLY SHOP AROUND, BUT I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS PRETTY DECENT. THERE WAS A FREE QUOTE. THEY DID STAY WITHIN THE ESTIMATE THE GAVE ME.
