ASAP Appliance Repair

I called ASAP and made an appointment for a Saturday and gentleman they sent out came during the 10am-1pm slot to fix the washing machine. Within a minute he diagnosed the problem and said it would be over $500 to fix and that getting a new machine would be better. He gave advice about what exactly to look for in a new machine. Would definitely hire again.

Craig Lazar gave me telephone instructions to correct the problem on 7/12/16 am. He even decided to stop by my condo in the afternoon to check that both appliances were working again. Our GE refrigerator had problem with the temperature control. Craig came to the house and diagnosed that the freezer needed to be defrosted. He charged $60 to diagnose and $60 for the recommendation to defrost the freezer. He also said that after the proposed treatment of the problem by defrosting the freezer, if there is a loud noise or clicking in the freezer then the fan needs to be replaced. There was clicking of the fan afterwards so he recommended we replace the fan which costed additional $150. He replaced the fan, took the fan he removed with him and ever since the refrigerator makes this loud noise multiple times in the day that it is literally giving me a migraine. I called him, my husband called him but he never responded. Finally he did answer his phone one day and asked me to send him a video of the refrigerator making the sound. Although I sent him the video, which does not adequately capture the sound and I told him so, he never called back to follow up. We would think that he would at least have the courtesy to look at the job he has performed and tell us what the problem is. It is okay if he does not have the knowledge to fix it but at least he can say so. Now we are calling the GE company and asking them to look at it. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company or the services to anyone.

Craig was great. He spent a lot of time investigating and looking for the leak. In the end, there wasn't any leak but he was very informative and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
It is always a pleasure to have someone not do work when it isn't needed. Tremendous trust building when you find this

My dishwasher works and he got the job done.

It did not. they did not come out to my home. Apparently my 2 family 10 year old townhome is not suitable.

My Sub Zero refrigerator was making noise in the freezer section and some foods on the top shelves were melting. I called a few repair companies from Angie's list. One said they need $280 to replace the evaporator fan and motor, another said they didn't service Sub Zero. I left a message for A.S.A.P. Appliance and got a call back from Craig within 20 minutes. He suggested me to first defrost the freezer completely to see whether the problem would be gone. I asked him a few more questions like how and why. Craig explained to me patiently and clearly, fully knowing helping me over the phone earns him not even a penny. I followed his advice and this indeed solved the problem for me, for a cost of $0! I and my family can't thank Craig enough. He and A.S.A.P. have earned our trust. We will definitely go to them again for future services. Highly recommended!

He calls 15 minutes ahead and is courteous and professional. His estimate was accurate. The fridge is now meeting its temperature specs +/- one degree. First rate, A+ performance!

Response was quick and technician showed up promptly--on a Saturday morning. Our SubZero freezer stopped working sometime Friday night, so didn't want to have to wait until Monday/Tuesday for a repair. Technician showed up early in the given time window. He diagnosed the initial problem as a broken fan, but explained there might be more to it and he wouldn't be able to tell until the fan was replaced. Fortunately, he had the right (brand-specific) fan with him and was able to swap out the part quickly. He determined that no other repairs were necessary--the compressor wasn't damaged. ( Good news!). He explained what he was doing while he was doing it and answered questions along the way. Would highly recommend.

When he arrived he checked out the machine and even though it of course now worked, he still opened the bottom to check the pump. then he fill and drained the machine several times to make sure everything was good. He took the time to explain what he was doing and showed me things about my machine that I didn't even know.

My refrigerator stopped cooling on a Sunday. I did not know who to call and no one could give me a referral, so I joined Angie's List. and looked up appliance repair . I telephoned several and by 8:00 am. on Monday morning, I received a call from ASAP Appliance Repair. He set a time that was convenient for me on the same day and was prompt. CL (I will use his initials) was very professional and took the time to explain the repair. He went above and beyond as my appliance was in a very tight space and took some time pulling it out. After the repair, I had another question and he pulled the appliance out again, looked at it and made a minor adjustment and it works perfectly!!! I was so pleased. I know this review is lengthy, but I just wanted to express how amazing the service was. I would most definitely use him again and refer him to anyone who requires appliance repairs!

Fast service

I had originally called because my dryer was not drying clothes properly. I spoke with a gentleman on the phone about my issues and he was very knowledgable and advised me to check the dryer vents rather than spend extra money on having a repair person come to the house. Although I did not actually use this company, I might in the future because I appreciated his advice and honest approach

He was really good. There were no problems. He was prompt and knowledgeable. He got the job done quickly. He came right on time and got the job done in 30 minutes so we didn't lose any food. He was really fast. My mother-in-law has used this company for a dryer repair and referred them to us. We were both very satisfied.
