I had my basement finished a few months ago, but the original contractor neglected to build to code, so the one thing I needed was a smoke detector! Went to Angie's List, searching for a local contractor. Called and left VM. About an hr later, Dan called and discussed the type of work I was seeking. Discussed and Dan had come over a few hours later to check out the basement.
Made plans for work the following week, called and scheduled appt for Friday a.m. Dan arrived on time, finished the work in a timely fashion, no issues whatsoever! Great job, thanks much! Will use again.

Dan had to install a newly purhased ceiling fan. Work was done neatly and timely. I also asked about replacing a circuit breaker for my dryer. He had one in his truck and was able to replace it, saving me another service call. I was very satisfied and would not hesitate to use Lowes Elecctrc again, or recommend Lowes to friends.

Electrician came on time and repaired the Attic fan as promised. Professional friendly interaction. Will use again.

James arrived promptly at 8 am with a great demeanor. We went upstairs to tackle my ceiling fan first and encountered numerous obstacles because the electrical box in my ceiling was ancient and not to code. I live in a hundred year old Tudor with plaster everywhere. My electric box news so old it was designed to operate a gas light fixture and it was difficult to remove without being both skilled and clever. James faced each obstacle with humor and an even temper and reassured me he would find a way to make all the problems go away. He did just that. It was a great experience and I sang his praises to Dan. I would not hesitate to hire them for your next job. I know I will definitely be doing that for mine. Thanks guys!

My Mom (87) lives in NJ alone and I live in CA. We have had some bad experiences with service repair people who we believe took advantage of my mom being old and alone and over charged her. This time I turned to Angie's list and found Dan Lowe, and Electrician repair / replace some switches and outlets in her house. Dan returned my call, and was able to fit her in the same day. He finished the job quickly, was very professional, and his charges were very reasonable. Best of all my mother was very happy. I highly recommend Dan Lowe.

The work went very well. Dan's crew performed the work and were at my home all day. Dan is easy to deal with and professional. This is the second time I have had worked performed by Lowes and each time it was a good experience dealing with an honest and personable individual.

While knocking down some walls in my home, I encountered a slew of electrical wiring that need re-routed, which prevented me from progressing any further on my project. I called Lowes Electric to help. After speaking with Dan, he assembled a small team of skilled workers and arrived at my home within an hour. Two hours later, the work was completed and I was free to continue. Their knowledge, skill and craftmanship was evident -- I know the job was done right, safely and up to code.

I met Dan Lowe, owner of Lowes Electric, LLC, in Middletown's Building and Inspection office while checking out the previous CO on a house we wanted to buy. He was standing behind me and overheard my questions and offered some good advice. I got his card and asked he come over for an estimate. I needed to get rid of suspect Federal Pacific Stab-Lok circuit breakers installed in this 1948 built home. He was there on time and we worked through an estimate that I thought was reasonable. On top of that, my insurance company would not insure this house with these old breakers and needed a letter from Dan stating this upgrade work would be done within 30 days of closing. Dan helped out by writing a letter to them and faxing it on time so I could get insurance and we could close on time. We scheduled the upgrade work and Dan came when he said with a crew and was able to complete the job in one day. He added some additional grounding, which he knew will be required in the future. He's got a great team working for him. He was responsive to email and phone calls. He even took care of the permit/inspection boilerplate with the town for us. I will certainly use him again for future work and would recommend him to others in this area. He's very experienced and knows his trade exceptionally well.
