Gro Rite Landscape Services

Gro Rite serviced my residential landscaping for  3 years. Alan Hamman motivated me to hire Gro Rite. They were just beginning to do residential landscaping. The first year Gro Rite was acceptable.  However, Alan Hamman does not care about his customers. He also goes on vacation in July or August for 2 weeks every year at the height of the season. The Gro Rite workers on the weekly maintenance team are not experts or educated in landscaping. They are very nice, respectable men who operate a lawn mower. Alan is supposed to come check the work on a frequent basis. He does not. Alan is knowledgable, but he does not care to use his knowledge.  The specimens often planted are small, inferior and overpriced. They are more expensive than the high end landscape architect I used who planted high quality products. After three years of being a loyal customer, April 4 I received a letter in the mail that Gro Rite will no longer be servicing residential accounts. I have no problem with their decision, if I was told in January or even February. However, I was told after Gro Rite should have begun maintaining my property. In the long run, Gro Rite did me a huge favor. I now have a wonderful landscaper who works along with his team. My property never looked better.
