Kevin and I brainstormed on how to make this happen and what it would look like. He brought in his cabinet contact and we figured out what it would look like and what the details would be. Kevin was extremely helpful and responsive with this project. Kevin prides himself on coming up with a great solution for you. Unlike most contractors I've worked with, he's extremely responsive in returning calls and communicating regarding the project.
We picked a date, he ordered the material, he was on time, he actually finished early and he's very efficient. My kitchen wasn't a mess when he was done and the job actually exceeded my expectations.
I look forward to our next project together.
Not only is Kevin a really nice person to deal with but I felt his estimates were extremely fair!

First rate work and knowledge.

K M carpentry  met and exceed all my expectations.  He was very professional and gave me an estimate that it was totally accurate.  He continually updated me on what to expect and informed me of problems that he found and how to correct them.  He was always on time and met his deadlines as far as finishing the projects.  
I have two amazing finished master baths that exemplify quality and craftsmanship and I could not be happier.  He also kept the project under budget and made many suggestions that helped improve the projects.    
This is someone that really pays attention to detail and has the customers best interest at heart.  I look forward to working with him again and do not hesitate to recommend him.

The installation of the floor and the cabinets went great.  Buddy removed the old cabinets and the hideous linoleum floor.  Once that was done we of course found a lot of mess behind the old cabinets where drywall was missing, etc.  He got everything cleaned up and then installed the floor.
We purchased the cabinets separately and he got them installed in just a few days.  Everything looked neat and professional when he was done.
The great part was the back-splash tiles ended up coming nearly two months later than expected.  Again, we procured them ourselves so that was not Buddy's fault.  He was more than willing to work around that delay and came back and did the back-splash when the tiles finally arrived.  He was always on-site on time, was available for questions and I could not be happier with the end result.

Kevin did the rip-out and carpentry himself and engaged subcontractors for the electrical, plumbing, drywall installation and
finishing, and painting work.  We were pleased with both Kevin’s carpentry work and his management and coordination of
the electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting subcontractors, as well as the various permits and inspections.  He is a
skilled and experienced carpenter, and did the work efficiently and with high quality.  The work of the subcontractors
was likewise of high quality. We are very happy with the results, and considering the scope of the work, it was all accomplished with relatively little disruption. 
We were provided with contact information for Kevin and his subcontractors, and schedule coordination was straightforward.  The various components of the job were started and completed as scheduled, and people arrived when they were expected.  Although not part of the main job, Kevin also put us in touch with a mason to demolish and replace the front concrete walkway
and perform some repair work on the top of the chimney in preparation for installation of the gas insert.  That work was done quickly and well over a weekend at a reasonable price.
Kevin was also very effective at dealing with suppliers.  He noticed that one of the new (casement) windows did not open smoothly once he installed it, and he requested a replacement from the supplier and re-installed it.  One of the interior doors was delivered with a chip in the frame, which he insisted that the supplier replace.  He was also able to expedite delivery of the
new front door, which became necessary due to some problems with the supplier’s processes.
In all, a very positive experience with excellent results.

This was the second major job by Kevin Morgan and we are very pleased with his work.  2 years ago he gutted the lower level (not basement) and replaced the entire bathroom, and made major structural changes to the supporting wall allowing us to have a wide open room worthy of entertaining in.  He works with many of the best sub-contractors in the area.
He is affordable, professional, punctual, honest and a talented carpenter.

He came in far below the other quote I was given and did an outstanding job.  The quality and attention to detail on the job job were outstanding.  He and his crew of two other men came on time and finished the job under the estimated price and finished quicker than was estimated.
