The person at the cash register called a manager over to help me. When I explained that I was given the wrong security case for the camera, and needed to exchange it, he looked at me as if I had 3 heads and started to list reasons why he would not exchange it (1) I didn't have the receipt with me, although I offered to go home to get it, 2) the packaging had to be destroyed in order to open it because of the plastic "sealing" system and 3) he said the case was scratched although I can not see any scratches on it). I was not asking for a refund, only an exchange. The wrong case was selected by the sales person when I made the initial purchase, not by me, so the purchase of the wrong case was not my fault, but that of the sales person.
This person was curt and discourteous. He displayed an obvious interest in finding reasons not to make an exchange as opposed to trying to help a customer.
I will find another source to purchase yet another security case, and not return to Ramsey Outdoor again, nor will I recommend that store to anyone I know.
