This is the second time we have used them in the last 10 years and this year our neighbors across from us had DeShields remove a large tree blown down approximately September 2012 and our next door neighbor had two or three trees removed and a large tree trimmed back in early Oct 2012. Nothing is too difficult for them . . . they have the expertise and equipment to do anything tree related.
They clean up everything that they cut down and their prices are reasonable. We are very pleased with them and plan to use them again for any tree work that we need.

A fir tree on our property died on our property over the winter. We contacted a few tree services for pricing. De Shields was recommended by a neighbor and was the least expensive contractor. They were quick to schedule the work and arrived on time. Fortunately the tree wasn't close to any structures on the property so they had plenty of room to work without endangering the house. We opted not to have the stump ground since it wasn't located in an area of the yard that we generally use.

IT WAS EXCELLENT. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE HERE ON TIME AND DID THE JOB QUICKLY. THE COMPANY HAS A VERY GOOD REPUTATION, AND THIS IS WHY I USED THEM.

WE HAVE KNOWN THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS. HE GAVE US A VERY GOOD PRICE FOR THE TRIMMING OF OUR TREES. WE HAD LIMBS THAT WERE HANGING DOWN AND RESTING ON THE OTHERS. THE TREES REALLY NEEDED IT AND THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB.
