Carroll and Company Tree Service

Workers arrived on time, were professional and pleasant, completed job, and cleaned up better than I could have done myself--very pleased with this company.

There was a minor communication issue but Carroll & Company did a great job removing the tree and all debris. Two large trucks showed up around 8am and the tree was completely removed just a few hours later. I'm very happy with the service and would recommend them to other customers.

This is the second time we have had Carroll & Company to our house.  Each time the guys did an excellent job.  They were on time and took care of everything that we asked them to do.  Try them, and you will agree that they are the best.

I had contacted Carroll and Company for an estimate and we scheduled the estimate over the phone.  Dave (owner) showed up exactly on time and I walked him through the entire property of everything I wanted to removed.  He drew up the estimate and asked that I simply call the office if I want to retain the services.  Since I wanted to retain, I set up scheduling for the removal and they came on time.  Everything I needed done was done and cleaned professionally.  The work crew is extremely courteous and are a reflection of Dave.  They go through great lengths of ensuring that there is no damage and unfortunately, through absolutely no fault of there's, there was damage to my neighbor's fence due to embedded rocks during the grinding process.  Dave replaced the section of fence that was damaged immediately at no charge, no questions asked.  I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Carroll and Company and will definitely use them again!!!

this is a great example of how you can execute the job well, but fail miserably because of customer service responsiveness.  I called and LM with secretary which was fine and that they would come do the estimate which they did without problem.  Then nothing happened. I called back and she had David call me to schedule an appointment. He said he would call me back after a few days to set a time and date - a week went by and no call. I would not ordinarily get so upset, but I had purchased two bushes waiting to be put in after David pulled out a larger bush.   We had an unexpected "heat wave' for a few days where the temp climbed to almost 90 and the bushes started to wither when they should have already been in the ground getting their roots growing.  I called and LM and still not answer after 4 days. (now it is almost 2 weeks gone by). I finally got a hold of the secretary who could tell I was quietly upset and David then called back immediately. He then came the next day and did the job without any issues.  I think what made me disappointed the most is there was not even an apology.  If they had just apologized once, I don't think I would be writing this review even with all the phone calls back and forth.

After having an estimate twice that of Carroll and Company and feeling the best when negotiating with David, I chose them for the job.  I was not home during the work, but it was done on the day as  planned and completed to my satisfaction.  It was said that  part of my fence would have to be pulled out in order to get necessary equipment into the back yard.  When I came home to investigate, to my pleasure, it looked as though the fence had never been removed.

With sadness, we made the decision after Super Storm Sandy to have the very tall Spruce tree in front of our home cut down.  If another storm like Sandy hits and it is seems these storms are the norm and this tree fell it would do considerable damage to our home or a neighbors and possibly injure someone.   So we began our search for a company to do the job.  First we called a friend of the family and were told he doesn't come to Hamilton Square, then we called the company that cut down another friends trees and received no call back.   I then consulted Angie's List and called Carrol & Company.   They called back within a day, came out to do an estimate  within a day and within one week of accepting their proposal the tree was cut down, the stump was grinded and all debris from the tree was removed.  We could not be more pleased.   The price was very reasonable.  I highly recommend their service and will call upon them again for any future tree service.

Couldn't have been more pleased. I called up Carroll for an estimate. David showed up promptly at the scheduled day and time, gave me a fair estimate. When I called David later to change the work that I initially needed done at the last minute, he didn't seem to mind. The crew showed up early and got the job done. When I asked David if he could trim a couple of branches from another tree, he gladly took care of that at no extra cost to me.

They did an excellent job of removing the trees and grinding the stump. 
They clipped the pertinent branches from the weeping cherry.  The workers were very courteous and hard-working.  
They did a very nice job.  I am very pleased with the work.

They are really good and dependable. They take the debris away. They are also insured and bonded. They are very honest and I know the owner. The price is also reasonable.

I contacted Carrol & Company after a tree fell in my yard after a storm.  He called me back shortly after I left him a message and came the same day to give me an estimate.  His price was significantly lower than others, so I called him back the next day to schedule an appointment.  He showed up first thing in the morning on the day we agreed to and got to work with his crew right away.  In addition to cutting up the fallen tree and shredding it, I asked him to remove some dead branches from another maple tree in my yard.  They completed the work promptly and cleaned the yard from any debris and small branches.  All in all, excellent service and very professional.  I will certainly use Carrol's services in the future and would recommend him to my friends.

Very good experince

We have a number of very tall and large trees on our property and we have used Carroll a number of times over the past 16 years to remove trees and to clean/trim up branches and otherwise maintain our trees. They have removed trees as tall as 35+ feet  including grinding out the stumps and removing roots.  They are an excellent company and we call them whenever we need tree work done in our yard.  In fact, they will be coming by today to provide an estimate to remove a dead tree at the very rear of your backyard that is well over 50 feet tall with a ~3 foot trunk diameter.  We trust them to do a safe and efficient job and to be careful of the surrounding structures and landscaping when they are doing their work.

Excellent,. They were on time , professional and clean. Worked fast and safe. I will be calling them again for future eork. This company was the only one to respond out of 4 services i called.. They came when they said they would come, did the work when they said they would do it and there were no extra adds or charges. Highly reccomend this group.

I was very pleased with them. They came the next day and they did the work in one day. They gave me an estimate and that was exactly what it cost me in the end. I?ve also used them to take down my barn.

The two men who came to do the work were very professional, courteous, and neat. The company was very responsive and prompt. We were happy with how nicely they cleaned everything up. There was nothing left for us to do. I give them my best recommendation.
