After waiting 2.5 hours, service guy Chuck Ratkay said to me that they broke the oil plug on my 2009 Toyota Avalon and now I have to pay for a new oil pan cost $ 650.00, he said it is not his fault, kept insisting it is not his fault over and over , he then said he will do me a favor by making new thread in the oil pan and put a oversized bot which may or may not hold, right next morning I saw oil leK under the car. They knew it is leaking oil but gave me the car anyway , they did not care, they even made me pay for the oil change, now I am out $650.00 plus a new oil change, these ppl are all about money and all these arranged reviews of great customer are very sad, I complained to them, their general manager , service director and manager , they did not even bother to respond, I have all the receipts, invoices As for tire rotation they claim there is a fine cut in one of the rear tires which they couldn’t show it to me , so they got a way with not rotating the tires , total dishonest people, I would stay away from this outfit unless you have money to throw around

For minor things, I just go to my Toyota dealership. I usually will go to Toyota just to get an oil change. For quality and for responsiveness they are very good.

They're very professional. They don't push and you can negotiate a good price. I belong to something called USAA, it's a large insurance company for retired military people and active duty. They have a hotline/buying service, and you can go online and figure out what the prices are and you can say, "I can buy it online for this price, can you make it work for me?" And they come pretty close.

The Toyota service associates are knowledgeable and helpful. For the most part they are also very honest, which matters a lot. Sometimes unnecessary services are offered when we bring the cars in. These are usually easy to spot once the associate explains the service and we then decline them. It is important to produce any coupons at first contact with the associate and to check at payment time to be sure the coupon was properly applied. Toyota coupons and warranties can be misleading and should be clarified at check in.

The service technicians usually do the job right, but have in one instance in 2013 failed to refill fluids and in another instance in 2012 misaligned a tire. The service associates were very professional when we complained and offered a price allowance for the misaligned tire and a re-check for the fluids.

I priced the two brands of Run Flat tires that fit my van, both on-line and at local tire dealers. Lawrence was running a "buy three, get the 4th free," promotion. Their price, including mounting, balancing and the front alignment was lower than the online price for the tires alone. They offer convenient Saturday service hours and I was able to make an appointment when I wanted it. They do a BIG service business here so I was expecting the usual car dealer service experience. Nothing could have prepared me for how easy it was. The service rep told me when I made the appointment that it should take about 2 hours, so I was prepared to wait. After a quick check-in, I got a cup of coffee and sat down in their comfortable waiting area. (several rooms including TV and free WiFi as well as a "quiet room.") My assigned service rep came to let me know it would be about 2 hours and she offered me a FREE loaner car. I filled out the paperwork, got in the loaner, ran a couple of local errands and drove home. An hour later they called to tell me I could pick up my van anytime. Checkout was fast and the van was waiting for me outside. All-in-all a great dealer service experience. I'm not happy that Toyota's engineers can't find a way to mount a spare tire on their AWD vans. As a result they require run flat tires which are expensive and last only half as long as normal tires. Even so, the service at Lawrence Toyota could just persuade me to buy another Toyota when I'm ready for a new car. If you have a Toyota you should try Lawrence Toyota for service.
