Princeton Tree Care is based in Mercer County in Princeton New Jersey. Our mission is the genuine care of our life giving trees. Professional service to our clients is our highest mission. The Princeton Tree Care experience enhances lives, improves community and fulfills even the unexpressed wishes and needs of our planet. After Sandy in Princeton, New Jersey, a father and son armed with their camping axes took to the streets of their neighborhood to assist in clearing downed trees from across driveways. What started as an act of service quickly grew into a passion. Princeton Tree Care was formed in 2013, set on becoming one of New Jersey's premier tree care services. Our philosophies are focused on proper tree care and health. Through proper care, we can extend the stay of our valuable life giving trees. Utilizing proactive maintenance and pruning techniques, we greatly increase our safety while helping to protect the structure of our timber friends.

Had five large trees that were in various states of decay, too close to my house and, in one case, impacting the neighbor’s deck/roof, so I called several tree companies for quotes. Matt from Princeton Tree Care came right out and discussed the job and the options with me. He was the only person who talked about the health of the trees and that one could be pruned rather than removed to achieve my goals. I share his belief in saving healthy trees where possible. He also gave me some tips on how I could save a very large and healthy holly tree from the scourge of English ivy which had started to creep up it. The quote from PTC wasn’t the lowest, but it served the trees and landscape better than any of the others. The crew was prompt, friendly and professional. They treated my yard respectfully, were super fast, and did a great job on the removal and pruning, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. I cannot recommend Princeton Tree Care enough.

Have used them for 3 projects, Greatest prices that I could find with experience. Everyone from 1st phone call to clean up was professional and courteous. Addressed any concerns I had. Everyone from estimator to cutting & stump crew where always on time.. Definitely using again in the future.

Crew was excellent and highly professional. They were well orchestrated in supporting each other and were highly observant of all safety measures. They cleaned up every piece. I've used PTC before and this experience was the same as the last...excellent!!! From the website to the office staff, the proposal team and the crew that did the work. They are responsive, flexible, professional, punctual, reliable and do really good work. They also cleaned up well after themselves (removing all debris) and took care to minimize any property damage bringing their equipment to my tree line.

We called Princeton Tree Care for an estimate to have dead trees removed. When the Tree Care Consultant, Matt arrived I showed him the trees I had marked for removal. He carefully looked them over and determined they were not dead, they were healthy, just late blooming due to the other surrounding trees shading them. They didn't need to be removed. I was so impressed with Matt. His passion for what he does was quite evident. He gave me a quick lesson in tree species and as it turns out we have a really nice selection of trees on our property. It would have been so easy for Matt to say "yes the trees are dead and they should be removed" He didn't and his honesty was refreshing. He made some suggestions for "thinning" out some of trees. When we are ready to do that I won't even bother with estimates. Princeton Tree Care and Matt it is!

Excellent work done by the the team. Professional from start to finish! Anthony's team came out out on a cold winter day and despite the weather they were pleasant and thorough in their work. When later troubleshooting needed to be done they came out and attended to the branches quickly and efficiently. This is my go to tree care company!

What a terrific, professional operation! We had a very large Ash tree that needed to be removed before we could have a new fence installed. From start to finish, the entire staff was knowledgeable, prompt, easy to contact and super friendly! A small crew got the job done in less than a full business day despite inclement weather. Incredibly polite and they did a thorough job. Thanks so very much! Highly recommended!

The job went very well. Princeton Tree Care was able to pull the split together and secure it with large bolts . I was very happy with the work and their professionalism throughout the project. The cost was reasonable as well.

Cory came to quote the job, and was extremely professional and helpful. Our job was scheduled, and communications went smoothly. Due to a storm, the job was postponed, but rescheduled in a timely manner. The workers were amazing! Safe, courteous, and completely cleaned up the area. The remaining trees look great. We're extremely satisfied. They weren't the cheapest quote we had, but the professionalism from start to finish, as well as the recommendation from Angie's List, made our decision.

The tree cutting and stump grinding were fine but the crew decided to cut a bunch of branches from another tree that I guess they thought was in their way coming into my property. I have had other trucks come onto the property without complaints about that tree. That tree provides a buffer to a busy road and I have been careful about removing branches from it. If I had known they were going to hack up my healthy tree and make it asymmetrical as well as impact my privacy, I would have hired another company. Sad enough having old trees gone and now really sad looking at a lopsided, hacked up tree.

When Princeton Tree Care did the inspection during the tree injection visit, they noticed some branches that needed pruning. They sent a detailed description, with photos, and cost. They arrived on the agreed upon date, and work was well done. As usual, all of our questions were answered. Will continue to work with Princeton Tree Care.

From start to finish, from estimate to clean up, everyone was very professional, they showed up on time and provided us with good information regarding the project. They pruned two trees and did an excellent job, plus cleaned up all the branches and hauled away. Highly recommend and would re-hire them.

I got several quotes for trimming or removing a large ash tree in my front yard. Princeton Tree Care was able to answer all of our questions and provide valuable information on the health of our tree that helped us make a decision on what to do with it. Then they were able to remove the tree in one day. Came back the next day to grind the stump. There was one issue with some power lines but it was easily fixed and somewhat understandable (the tree had heavy branches surrounding power lines to our house). Overall, very satisfied with Princeton Tree Care. Would definitely recommend.

Princeton Tree Care was very accommodating in scheduling the work. They first came out to assess everything. They made some suggestions and negotiated a very acceptable price. The team came out on a very cold day with brand new equipment that helped make the job go quickly. They were efficient and they cared about the trees. I am very pleased to have had that work done. I feel comforted knowing my old tree was trimmed and has a chance to be healthy and that I won’t have squirrels jumping on my house and running around every morning. They also took out the tree that was fighting with the power lines for space. It was in a bad spot for a tree and, as much as I love trees, I am glad it is gone. Princeton Tree Care did a great job!
