I was not completely satisfied because they did not completely take care of the ant problem and I have not noticed much of a difference regarding the mice that they said we had. The person who did the estimate also did not communicate with the person who came out to do the work, so we got different messages from them.

Beware! This company is a complete joke. I called regarding a pest problem about 2 years ago and was talked into a maintenance plan they offer. At first we were ok with the service. Eventually we started realizing that any technician that seemed competent only lasted a short time. I would call to request certain workers, when a maintenance treatment would come up. They'd let me know that the person was no longer with the company. I'd be assured that they would send someone capable. Most techs. sent were lazy and very uninterested in dealing with the problems at hand. I constantly had to check and make sure they actually did what they said and more often then not I would have to call and have them come out again to rebait or spray the things they lied about doing. After a while We'd had just about enough. They sent a technician last March who again tried to leave after treating just the exterior of our home. I specifically reminded him that I needed certain things looked at inside. I saw that he was leaving as soon as he finished outside. I again reminded him that I needed service inside and he told me he was unable to come in because I had a dog. The dog was never in contact with anyone. He was inside while the outside was being treated. I let the tech. know that I was going to put the dog outside so that he could service inside. He agreed, I went inside , let the dog out, went back to let the tech. in and saw that he had left! I immediately called Cooper Pests and cancelled my account with them. I was released to be free of their headaches until I realized they were continuing to send me billing invoices. I got a bill from June stating that my property was serviced and the I owed $105.21. I called, sure that they had made another mistake. However They called me a liar and said they had no record of me canceling the account. I was told that a tech had come last June and they needed payment. The treatment plan was for indoor and outdoor so if my wife or myself hadn't let anyone in the house to do the treatment how could it have been completed? They had 0% interest in hearing anything I had to say. The woman I spoke with was unbelievably rude! No sense of customer service, no sense of wanting to get to the bottom of the situation, didn't care about their responsibility to maintain a pest free home for my family... nothing like that. She told me she didn't have time for this and hung up on me. Cooper Pests just wants your money. They didn't try to fix the problem. They didn't even care after 2 years of patronage that I was unhappy. Rather than try to come to an understanding over $105.21, they called me a liar and sent the invoice to a collections agency! Again, hiring this company is a mistake! They are supposed to get rid of your pests... instead they became them. Since then I have been dealing with a company called Aptive Environmental. They do a much better job for about half the price. No hidden fees, no lazy workers, or nasty secretaries. We are very happy with Aptive and strongly recommend them if you are dealing with any pest problems!

The worst pest control company I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with . I paid for the whole years service right up front , that was my mistake. We have problems with ants an spiders an issues with drain flys ( they don’t cover that but they fail to tell you that until after you sign the contract) also stink bugs ( again not covered in the contract) after the years service was completed we still had the same issues so I called the office an spoke with the lady who answers the phones. I told her I wanted to cancel my contact an she informed me that I had to speak to a supervisor in order to cancel service an none were available at that time she told me they would call me back . So I waited an a week later they called an I spoke with service manager Mike who was very apologetic to me an told me he would look into the issue and get back to me . Again I said Mike I want the contract canceled and he told me ok but let me look into this to see what happened. So I agreed not realizing the contract was not canceled. A few days latter he called me back apologizing for the poor service an told me that his records show that my house was missed on several occasions an that he wanted to make it up to me by personally coming out to address my issues, I agreed not realizing the contract was still in effect an that Cooper was still charging me. I had a misfortune on the day Mike was supposed to come out and could not meet with him an called an told him an he told me no problem Mr Rowlands , I figured we were done an the service was canceled... but it wasn’t... month after month I continue to receive bills and every TimeI got one I would call the office an tell them please cancel my service month after month the same thing over and over calling back and forth with Cooper employee after Cooper employee trying to cancel service to no avail. What a horrible experience, in the end it ended up costing me over $300.00 to finally end the contract 6 months latter .... I still have the same issues with the bugs . The Cooper pest control company is a total rip-off, do yourself a favor an go with one of the larger companies with a better reputation... you will be happy that you did. Very poor service .... disappointing!!!

I was given a time frame of 1pm-5pm. The technician called at 11 and wanted to come earlier. Unfortunately I was unable to accommodate him and he became belligerent and nasty with me because of his schedule of stops.

We've been with Cooper for the last 3 years. We’re not exactly sure when this company started declining in its quality, as recent experiences with the company have been marred by less-than-enthusiastic customer service representatives, cancelled and incorrect appointment dates, and a visit that resulted in a broken fireplace door (which was repaired free of charge the following week). While these inconveniences are ones we are willing to overlook, our most recent service call was particularly egregious. This was an appointment to address some ants we had been seeing around our kitchen, as well as on the second floor of our home, where we had never observed them in the past. The problem itself was treated during a recent overwintering visit, but only worsened several days later. The ants themselves are not the problem, as we understand these things happen and treatments may require multiple applications in order to take effect. The grade on this post is in regard to the fact that the technician left behind a half-full syringe of insecticide on the floor of our kitchen, with the needle still attached. Needless to say, this is completely unacceptable. Not only do we have a dog who identified the chemical by sniffing it and pointing it out to us, but one can only imagine what might have happened if a young child was running around and had picked it up or injured themselves on the attached needle. Despite repeated calls to the company to address this situation, I still have yet to speak to a live representative over the phone. To their credit, I did receive an email reply and a voice mail message, but both of which simply stated that the company was “sorry for any inconvenience”. The representative seemed more concerned with retrieving the syringe itself than actually expressing any remorse over compromising customer safety or showing concern for a potentially hazardous situation. The same was true when our fireplace part was broken – never once did anyone from Cooper apologize for this particular incident, just that the parts would be ordered and a repair called in. These may be isolated situations, but if you are thinking of doing business with this company, I would advise that you take a very careful look around and be especially wary of your children and pets once the technician leaves your home.

Customer Service female was polite and connected me right to the Exterminator after I explained my request. NOW!!!!! The exterminator on, the other hand, was a different story! At first, he was forthcoming when I explained my situation. But after maybe 2 minutes he was a different person, sarcastic, rude to say the least. Let me just say Mr. Exterminator, I CALLED, giving you the opportunity to quote me a price to do a job. It was obvious you did not need the work since you were answering calls from the office around 11 AM on a Friday morning. So, maybe next time you answer a call from a customer asking for help you will have a better BUSINESS sense to sell a product/service without being rude, and self-centered because I will without a doubt will NEVER call back and make it a point to never recommend your company.

The cost is about $300.00 for the bees and $200.00 for the ants. They're pretty environmentally conscious. They know their stuff. They know the latest EPA rules for spraying that doesn't hurt human beings and pets. These guys are up on it and it's just as good. These guys get awards. I had some problems with big crows and robins, but the Cooper guys told me about cellophane streamers that are red on one side and silver on the other. Just pin them up above the windows and the wind makes them shimmy and it's very distracting to them, so the birds don't come anymore. They said they're hitting the windows because they see their reflection in the glass and think it's a predator so they attack it. You hear a big "bang" and they keep coming back.

Considering the problem remains and another professional has to take over, I'd say it didn't go well. We paid for a 90 day guaranteed, one time service (not sure what it guarantees) that goes from December 29, 2016 - March 29, 2017. We relied on professionals to guide and help us. Today, I can't even get a return call or make an appointment for someone to come out to the house one last time before coverage ends next week to at least check and re-bait the stations at the house until I can have a mason work on the newly-discovered gap in the crawl space, even though technically I still have an active contract. This company is not flexible with their hours or days of operation so that a working person can have an opportunity to speak to their hired professional. In our case, the only person home was an elderly person who knew no English. On 2 occasions when things were not improving, I was told the job manager would be coming out to personally speak to me early in the morning and on both occasions no one showed up, not even a call. They would email me with a follow up appointment and no one would show up. Reports with supposed details that were left were illegible most times. Only 2-3 weeks ago, I was told there was a gap between an external crawl space door and our home which "might" be an entry point for mice and I was told pictures were forthcoming. Those pictures arrived 2 days ago when the crawlspace was under ice and snow. I can only say that the company was very decent at the beginning, but the moment the job became a challenge, they just didn't care. The only thing nice I can say is that Carlos was very professional when he visited and knew a little Spanish and was able to communicate his findings to an extent. Jeff, who was not even the manager for this job, also came out to the house to inspect the problem and I was told he was thorough, but that all happened in March. Besides still having the problem, I think my biggest problem with this company is their lack of flexibility, accountability and their inability to offer a plausible explanation to a consumer or offer a solution that works considering they are professionals in this field. And only after almost 3 mos. of service, where the problem continues to the point where I may have to replace a major appliance due to health risks, they blame it on a crawl space that I was never made aware of until recently when I got pictures 2 days ago. No communication, no plan of action going forward was discussed or even offered. Just dead silence 4 days before a contract expires. I would not hire this company again or recommend them to anyone.
