Willy's Chimney Service is a family owned and operated professional chimney company with 22 years experience. We specialize in sweeping, re-lining, rebuilding chimneys and fixing leaking chimneys. We also service gas and oil chimneys. We also install woodstoves and fireplaces and all types of stainless steel liners and chase covers. We are a NJ licensed contractor, CSIA certified chimney sweep, NFI gas and wood certified, F.I.R.E. certified inspector, C- DET and NCSG member along will all proper insurance such as liability and workman's compensation. We accept all major credit cards. We also carry a match price guarantee!

Perfect - excellent work - kept surrounding area clean - Dan was very warm friendly personality - and explained what he was doing while completing the job - also offered info and tips. Also - the first person you encounter when hiring any worker is the receptionist - cannot say enough about her warm friendly demeanor - you could clearly hear the smile in her voice! (much better than ALL the others I called) So pleased with this company that I asked for multiple business cards so I could hand them out! Do not be fooled by those ads for $29.00 - that guy showed up two hours late then said he would send someone else back later???

after being 1.5 hours late i called and was informed they would be able to come til sunday at 2pm. Fine. At 2 they called to say they would be there at 3. They showed up at 4. Work was completed as expected.

Wily's sent two professionals to replace our rusted Chimney Chase cover with a stainless steel one. They ordered the part and showed up when they were supposed to and were courteous and professional. The workmanship was excellent and we were happy with the finished results. I would highly recommend Wily's.

I reached out several companies and Wily's was one of the first to respond. They showed up at the scheduled time. They sent two employee's that came to inspect and sweep the chimney. They were professional, courteous and clean. I felt they were honest in the evaluation and did not try to up sell. They pointed out one minor issue but stated that it did not need to be repaired at this point but pointed out it could need fixing a few years down the road depending on usage. They showed us some footage of the inspection.

Dan presented the options to me and left the decision totally up to me. I decided to go with a stainless steel pre-insulated liner so I could burn wood this winter. Dan and his crew were friendly, knowledgeable, pleasant, professional, and respectful of my property. I had tons of questions and Dan answered each one without trying to put me off. I trusted Dan and he did exactly what he said he would do. He was deliberate and always concerned to provide the highest quality solution to my problem. He will not cut corners. He worked neatly and cleanly. I am very happy with work that was done and look forward to using my wood burning fireplace this winter. Dan came back to waterproof my chimney at my request because of water penetration into my interior wall. I highly recommend Dan/Willy's Chimney Services and will be using him in the future for follow up inspections

The guy never showed up for pricing appointment. I waited here for hours. Didn't have the common courtesy to call either. When I called to find out if there was a problem, no one returned my call. Bad manners. Very unprofessional.

Wonderful!!!! We had some weather delays but Dan was in constant communication with us. We were able to work together and really got what we wanted. We are also going to remain with this company for chimney service. It was expensive but very well worth the cost -we are extremely satisfied.

Willy's Chimney Service was second to none! After we had a chimney fire, Dan (the owner) came out to inspect. He was thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and explained each step in the process. We contracted them to do the work. I have never experienced a company so intent on excellence. The people who worked on our chimney was hardworking, trustworthy, courteous, and detailed oriented. Dan and his crew did beautiful work. We can't wait to burn our first fire this fall! We would HIGHLY recommend Dan!

I initially called Dan to do an inspection of the fireplace and chimney on a house in Lacey that I inherited. The inspection revealed that the metal firebox was rusted through and if I had used the fireplace I could potentially have had a fire in the walls above the fireplace. Dan cut out the old metal firebox and built a new firebox with fire bricks. He also installed a stainless steel chimney liner and flue cap. Dan did an outstanding job bringing the fireplace back to life. Before beginning the work he built an enclosure around the fireplace to minimize any mess in the house from the demolition of the old firebox. We have enjoyed many roaring fires in the refurbished fireplace.

His price was also very reasonable in comparison to other estimates I received.  Dan finished the job quickly and with photos, explained exactly what he did, using high quality materials.  He is very trustworthy and I would definitely use him again.

"Sorry about the slow response. The office manager had a serious health issues and was out for a few days. As regards to why we do not service you association any long it is an issues of liability. We have recently found out that most of the dryer vents in you association have hidden defects that are extremely hard to detect. These defects we have recently found are a serious fire hazard. Most people are getting there dryer vents clean to prevent dryer fires, which is the 2nd leading cause of fires in America. If we can not do the job correctly to the standard of CSA and C-DET we will not do the job. So we will not accept any exposure and or liability to a situation which we know is a serious fire hazard. That is why we have made the decision to no longer service your community. Your management company is aware of all the details, Unfortunately many people are only concerned about cost of the dryer vent cleaning and if its out of site its out of mind. Remember that dryer related fires are the 2nd LEADING CAUSE OF FIRES IN AMERICA. There is a reason for that. It would be unethical of my company to provide a service to a situation we know is a potential hazard. We do offed to repair the dryer vent is you association to make them safe."

Dan took before and after pictures; he was very clear, informative and professional.  We thought we might need the chimney repointed but Dan said it wasn't necessary at this time; he did not try to sell services that were not needed. He offered us a clear estimate of proposed services with cost options.  It took awhile to get the work scheduled but that was partly down to the weather. I would definitely use Willy's Chimney Service again, when the time comes to do major work on the chimney.

Due to age and construction of original chimney, we had a fire which came through the fire box into the walls.  The fire department took care of this but damage was so extensive that the entire fireplace and chimney had to be replaced.  Willy's made every effort to protect our property during the removal of the old chimney and fireplace and the construction of the new chimney and fireplace and insert.  Every step of the job was explained to us by Dan.  All of the employees were thoughtful, courteous and careful with our property.  They cleaned up after themselves every day.  Also, in order to not inconvenience us there was a port a potty installed outside for their use.  Their expertise shows in how great the fireplace, chimney and insert look and we have received many compliments on the work already.  We would like to highly recommend Willy's to anyone considering a new fireplace or repair of an existing one.  We plan on using him yearly to clean our new chimney.
