Triumph Construction has done three outstanding projects for us. Nikki, Jim and Joe are highly professional. The workmanship is phenomenal. Our first project was a list of miscellaneous interior repairs that included construction of a custom kitchen cabinet and replacing a stair in a complex attic stairwell. This November (2022) the Triumph team replaced our exterior porch floors and rebuilt exterior walls that were leaking. Their work is meticulous, and their prices are very fair.

Jim, Joe, & the team at Triumph were excellent. They regularly communicated by phone & showed up on time as promised. They have great pride in their workmanship along with top-notch skills to match. We had them repair our rooftop & bedroom decks. All 3 were damaged from deferred maintenance. They were also initially built with an improper water drain & pitch design, resulting in several large exterior walls with severe water damage to the wood, supporting beams, windows, & more. 2 of the decks were in danger of collapsing if they didn't discover the damage! Jim & Joe explained everything to us step-by-step while showing us any new damage they discovered, along with their plans for fixing it. There was way more work than expected (the massive damage was concealed by vinyl siding), but they stuck with me & didn't leave to their next job until this was 100% completed. There were no surprise bills or hidden fees from them. Everything was clearly & honestly disclosed throughout the entire process. This was a huge job & it came out better than perfect. Our house is in Brigantine if you want to see it for yourself. We highly recommend Jim, Joe, & the team at Triumph.

I used Triumph for a screened in porch and patio. I had the best experience. Jim, the owner is super easy to work with. Some contractors will tell you things can’t be done and bend you to what is easy for them. Jim is the opposite – he wants to make you happy. On top of this, Triumph does outstanding work. My finished product is amazing and makes me say, “I can’t believe this is my house” every single day. His right hand man is polite and funny. Everyone that was working on this project was KIND to my animals and my kid and RESPECTFUL to my beloved plants. A++++

WOW ! What a job ! i am so pleased with my bathroom remodeling, i cant say enough. As by doing a total remodeling we went down to the bare walls to an entire new bathroom in a matter of a couple of weeks. From the first meeting, to the detailed documentation of what was to be done, to the additional parts my wife requested [ a vanity], to the back and forth of messages/emails with pictures of updates, to the final meeting at the summer house to review. Everything was done with professionalism, and a sense of doing a perfect job for their customer. Working with James was such a pleasure, also i have to put in a good word for Nikki, who kept the paperwork up to date and accurate. By working with Triumph Construction I found a local contractor that did a perfect job. Again, Thank You for a job well done !

We were extremely happy with Triumph Construction. They handled a substantial construction project with some intricate elements with great competence and professionalism. Jim and his crew had great attention to detail. They clearly take great pride in their work. We were particularly impressed at how thoughtful Jim was in thinking through difficult elements of the construction plan. He also made excellent practical suggestions. Their pricing was fair and competitive. They are honest and trustworthy. Nikki handles the books and was very easy to deal with. We would happily recommend them and use them again oursleves.

Triumph Construction did a fantastic job on my patio roof. Jim, Dave and Joe were courteous, professional and demonstrated meticulous craftsmanship, exceeding my expectations. It was obvious Triumph was the best candidate for the job during the estimation process. Jim arrived on schedule and spent a considerable amount of time measuring the site and offering suggestions at night in the POURING rain. That’s someone who takes pride in their work. Nikki was also extremely helpful throughout the entire project but especially with the painful process of securing permits from the township. Despite navigating several township obstacles, Jim started and completed the project in the time frame suggested. He followed through on every task and communicated status updates frequently. They maintained a clean work area and removed all debris afterward. Even though my project was on the smaller side, nothing was neglected. Triumph Construction provides quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price and is reliable, trustworthy and conscientious – qualities necessary for any successful project.

Zen and the Art of Home Renovation! I can't say enough positive things about Jim Toner and his crew- they were able to translate my half-formed vision for a fixer-upper that we were purchasing into a real work of art! And they did it on time, on budget, calmly and patiently, with absolutely no drama. Their professionalism and calm demeanor kept me on an even keel during the project - no small feat! The project included a complete gut rehab of the kitchen and baths, new flooring, paint, trim, built-ins, and closet design. Their work is superb - there was no "punch list" at the end, and we are so happy with the quality of our wonderful new space. We would not hesitate to use them again, and are planning on future projects with them. Pictures are before/after of the kitchen and fireplace.

Very well. Jim Toner and his crew were extremely conscientious and precise in everything they did. They were pleasant and professional, came when they said they would. Worked steadily to finish the job in very good time. They were very clean and neat every step of the way, both in everyday clean-up and in final job clean-up. We are extremely happy with the end product and get rave compliments from our guests. I was satisfied enough to hire them again for a porch railing job and I am presently waiting for quotes on two more projects. Again, meticulous, professional work and workmanship.

Triumph is an extremely professionally-run business. They presented a detailed proposal for the work to be performed and answered all of our questions in a manner that made us extremely confident that we had chosen the best contractor for the job. Triumph showed phenomenal professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship throughout the project. We were extremely pleased with the results of our bathroom renovation and have commissioned Triumph to develop proposals for several follow-on projects. Highly recommended!

We were so pleased with the design and work Jim and his team did converting our old back deck to a maintenance free screened in back porch for us that we brought them back to convert our front porch to maintenance free. They used Azek decking and railing and we are extremely pleased with the finished product. Their finishing touches made it much more attractive than the original and it even looks larger! They are very professional and always arrived on time. They are easy to work with and very nice people. We are having them back again to look at ways to redo our bathrooms. We highly recommend them for any home projects.

It went very well. Triumph was very professional and helpful when it came to the project. We gave them a general idea as to what we wanted. They gave us the options and boom...it was done!

Triumph did excellent beautiful work. We had gotten three quotes for the work from outfits well recommended on Angie's list. Jim Toner of Triumph went beyond just giving us a quote for what we asked for. He asked questions and proposed a solution that would be structurally sounder and better looking, while meeting our needs, at a similar price. He communicated well about when work could be done, using email, phone, and text messages. His team was very thorough in supplementing the existing deck foundations. When I told Jim that completed work prevented Bilco door from completely latching open, he had adjustments made to fix the problem. Bravo Triumph!

Triumph Construction did a beautiful job, as always. Everything was done exactly as I had imagined and the finished project has exceeded my expectations! The fireplace and surrounding builtins are a stunning focal point in an amazing living area within the addition that Triumph had completed about a year prior. Triumph Construction is a pleasure to work with. The team is always prompt, courteous, and respectful. The quality standards for both their own work and subcontractors is exceptional. Triumph is dedicated to the project at hand and one can be assured of their commitment and dedication to a project from start until completion. The timelines, costs, and expectations for a project are clearly delineated upfront and communication is open and consistent throughout. From planning, design, execution, and completion - the project is seamless and quality is unmatched. In additon, Jim provides exceptionally helpful feedback throughout the process to ensure that the original goals are met and project remains consistent. Every aspect of the project is carried out with precision detail and care. Overall, the project was completed beautifully, it was our pleasure to work with Triumph Construction, and I highly recommend them.

We met with 5 different contractors, all A list companies on Angie's List and a few personally referred to us. Jim was the first of the 5 that we met and we just really liked him right away. He was on time, extremely nice and he is just one of those people you immediately feel comfortable with, like you have known him for years kind of feeling. He got back to us with the proposal right away, I did not have to chase him down for it like I did with others. In fact only 2 out of the 5 companies even got back to me with quotes at all! Besides the work being impeccable, you can trust Jim. That is the biggest concern when it comes to looking for contractors and I was very honest with him right away with telling him my concern since we were spending almost $150,000. Jim promised to always be on the job site, and he was. He doesn't just take on the job and send other people. Yes he works with plumbers, masons, roofing companies etc but he is always there to oversee everything and if you are ever unhappy about anything he will go beyond his means to change/fix it. I love the close family business they have, he works with his brother in law and his wife Nikki, who are also the nicest people you could meet. His wife Nikki was so helpful with the layouts and picking out fixtures, I wanted everything so unconventional/mostly vintage and she designed my dream retro kitchen and found the most amazing metal cabinets on ebay for me! I could text or email Jim or Nikki anytime of day or night and I never waited more than half an hour for a response. When they take on a job it is their main focus and they really care so much about you being happy and excited throughout the whole process. From start to finish we ended up paying exactly what we were quoted in the proposal and the whole job was completed in the time frame we were told in the beginning as well . We expected additional costs to pop up as they tore apart this old house but Jim and Nikki worked to figure out ways to move money from other areas in the budget to make up for it. We were even told at one point we had an extra $1,200 from the garage demo, we would never have even know that and he could have easily kept it. Throughout the 3 month renovation I had joked to Jim and Nikki "Can you please do something wrong? You guys are so perfect when we go to write a review it will look fake!" I promise you this is not fake, I did not know them before, I found Triumph here on Angie's List.

The experience was wonderful! We couldn't be happier with our addition or the overall experience of working with Triumph, especially in comparison to past experiences with contractors. There was zero stress and everything went smoothly, which is saying a great deal given the scoop and size of the project. It was a pleasure to work with the team at Triumph to accomplish our plans. They are prompt, courteous, respectful, knowledagble, and skilled craftsmen. The work is exceptional quality and I have received nothing but compliments! Throughout the construction process I was constantly stopped by neighbors eager to tell me how amazing the addition looked and how fast it was going up! Triumph is dedicated to their timelines and is upfront with expectations from the start. They also will focus on a project until completion rather than spotty focus of other contractors. Triumph is easy to communicate any question, concern, or thought and will offer helpful insight and feedback that only benefits the project. I really cannot say enough about how great it has been to work with Triumph and how much I recommend them. I would and am currently using them again for another project. Overall, an exceptional experience.

Jim is a great guy to deal with. Did an excellent job and was always courteous and explained everything he is going to do and made sure we are ok with it. It is not easy to find a good contractor. I would hire him for any work I do in the future

We have not a single complaint about Triumph - everything went fantastically. They were very professional and timely, from our original consultation through the end of the project and now with coming out promptly and without issue to fix any concerns we have with settling, etc. The entire team including subcontractors were fantastic and very friendly; it was like having family in the house every day and we were sad to see them go after nearly 8 months of almost constant construction. The work of both Triumph and its subs is impeccable. We've had many people come through our home and comment on how well-done all of the work is. This is why after doing just the kitchen we decided to take them up on the huge project of two additions, foundation repair, and nearly doubling the square footage of our home. We hope to be able to use them in the future as well.

Their design was superior to other contractors that we had contacted. They did extra work that wasn't proposed by other contractors to ensure it was safe and stable. We are extremely pleased with the finished product. They were very professional and always arrived on time. They stayed late to finish critical work. They are easy to work with and very nice people. The finished product is attractive, maintenance free, and even better than we imagined. We will be having them back when we are ready to redo our bathroom.

I contacted several contractors and and made it clear I was looking for craftsmen, not handymen. I wanted the finished product to be "a step above the rest"; to have a finished quality similar to our house in Bergen County. Of the three contractors I met, James (Jim) Toner was the most detail-oriented of the lot. His proposal was the most comprehensive and the price was fair. Shortly after the work commenced I knew I made the right decision. Jim and his crew did not disappoint. They were prompt, neat, organized, and skilled. The job was completed as per the schedule, and all phases of the project met my expectations. I will be hiring them in the near future to do additional work. If you are looking for craftsmen, then I highly recommend Triumph Construction.

Triumph Construction built an amazing new deck and stairs and put in a much need outside shower. They were wonderful and stayed in constant contact with our project. They do beautiful work and I would recommend this company to anyone. The flooring in my house is amazing and they did a great job. They are friendly and very professional.

The porch is perfect and Jim and his crew were always here daily until it was done. They were very respectful of our time and schedule-- Excellent workmanship on the finishing details too. Pricing was very fair. I highly recommend them for any building project and will use them in the future.

Working with Jim was an absolute pleasure.  He was always available to answer questions and discuss design ideas.  My wife and I couldn't be happier with the result.  We chose Trex decking and railings for it's low maintenance.  We knew this would be an increased cost, but Jim's price was fair.  Jim also made some small design tweaks to the decking layout which really helped to bring a more polished look to the deck.  Jim is definitely someone I would work with again.  I really appreciate that he takes a lot of pride in his work and it's reflected in the final product.

After a few years of making minor repairs on my deck I knew we had reached the point where a replacement was necessary. I reached out to Triumph Construction LLC (Forked River) for a few estimates to replace my deck as well as consider a remodel of the deck. Jim was very responsive to my request, we met and I was provided with a timely estimate. After agreeing to move forward with the project I was on his schedule in a short time. They showed up when they said they would start and performed all the work in a timely and more importantly neat fashion. The deck looks great and is exactly what i was looking for. I have received many compliments from my neighbors as well as people in the neighborhood about the deck. I was impressed with both Jim and his partner's work and will be getting additional estimates for other projects around my home. I would recommend Triumph Construction LLC without hesitation.
