My mother's gas fireplace has not worked in years. I called four different companies including the manufacturer to come look at it. The first one couldn't figure out what was wrong, the other two wouldn't even come out to service. Then I received a call from Stephen and he told me he could come out the next day. He came out looked at it, told me it needed a new part and gave me an estimate. He recommended and instructed how to clean up the inside while waiting for the part. Within 3 weeks he installed new parts and we are enjoying our fire on cool days rather than heating the entire house. The cost was reasonable, his service was professional, polite and personable.

We needed to replace our old inoperable pre-fab fireplace with a new one and called Steve for an estimate. From our initial meeting to the finished job, Steve exceeded our expectations. He is a "one man show," quotes a fair price (with no cost overruns), understands what you want, is knowledgeable about what he does, completes the job as promised and takes pride in his work. We could not recommend him more highly. The end product was a fantastic fireplace!

Steve did an amazing job, I recently bought the home and the wood burning fireplace was inoperable, Steve removed all of it, installed a new gas fireplace which included the need to run a new gas line and then installed new granite and built a brand new mantle. I have a lot of experience in construction and I will tell you he was incredibly professional and the work quality was exceptional

Steve was extremely professional, keeping me up to date on all aspects of the project (installing granite surround, gas line, gas logs, mantel, replacing glass doors and screen). His workmanship on custom fitting the granite and mantel to replace the original tile surround was exquisite. He was a pleasure to have in my home, always carefully cleaning up and leaving things as he found them. And always here exactly when he said he'd be. His time and cost estimates were spot on. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any home improvement project. (My dog likes him, too)
