River Signs

I ordered a simple "For Rent" sign despite their
prices being higher because I like to support local businesses. I paid River
sign to create and install the sign which crashed down 3 days after it was put
up due to improper installation. The sign was damaged as well as rail fencing
below. I called the company expecting them to repair and re hang the sign and
what I got was an owner who tried to blame me from the start. She claimed
"I told the company how to hang their sign"?   This simply wasn?t the true. The owner went
on to say the company "did me a favor? by hanging the sign despite the
fact I was invoiced by way of separate line item for installation. The company
took no responsibility despite the fact they are the professionals who were
hired to install the sign correctly. The owner was unhelpful and confrontational
from the very start of the problem.  I
was told me to use a rubber mallet to repair the metal on the sign? After
several emails the company said I could return the sign but created a caveat by
giving me a two day time frame to do so. They then went on to say I would be
charged $10 per day if I was late in returning the sign and knowing I was out
of town on business.  I felt this was
done to further harass me since this was a custom made sign that needed to be
replaced.  I requested but was given no
valid reason why River Signs created an artificial time frame for the signs
return?  At that point I was done dealing
with them.
