About us

Rago's is the largest and leading auction house in New Jersey - an internationally-known venue through which to buy and sell. Rago's has served sellers and buyers since 1994, providing global reach and personal service. We offer free valuations for personal property (from a single piece to collections and estates). Auctions are held monthly from September through June. Most of the property we sell ranges in price from $2,000 - $50,000, with top lots exceeding half a million dollars. We also hold unreserved auctions three times a year for items with great style at a great price. Founding partners David Rago and Suzanne Perrault can be seen as featured appraisers on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow, as can Sarah Churgin, who heads Rago’s jewelry and silver department, and Meredith Hilferty, who heads Rago’s art department. All specialists appear at major shows and conferences across the country. Rago’s can buy individual items and complete estates. We also have an appraisal division.

The appraisals are free. If the item has any value to it they will auction it off for you. They're very nice and patient people.
Description of Work: I took a piece of pottery in to have it appraised.
