TJ Electric

After a very destructive winter storm devastated my neighborhood, my hot water heater stopped working. My plumber told me that I needed an electrician to repair, and due to the devastation of the storm, I was unable to find a single electrician that was taking non-emergency work. I decided to try Angies List and asked for a quote from TJ Electric. I was contacted right away and within an hour the electricians were at my door! They were courteous and professional and took only minutes to fix the problem. Given the high demand for electricians and my emergency situation, I was very impressed with TJ Electric’s service. The best part is that when you call them, someone answers the phone and you don’t have to leave a message and play phone tag to talk to someone. I highly recommend this company.

Our experience with Joe was excellent.  After a landscaper was shocked on a wire in our yard, we called Joe.  He was over in 30 minutes, texted the issues and pictures immediately and gave us a reasonable quote on the work.  He review the electrical in the house to pinpoint any issues, and returned to replace the lower lever fuse box which was the source of the issue.  Again, he texted pictures and details as he worked so we knew what to expect.   We only live in our home on the weekends, and felt comfortable having him in our home to complete the work even when we were not home.

They are awesome. When we had Hurricane Sandy they had all people from out-of-state. The out-of-state guys hooked up something wrong down the street but they tried to tell me that my electrician had hooked it up wrong. So, I called him up, within 20 minutes he was over at the house checking it out and then told them exactly what they did wrong down the street. He is very responsive.

It is now the warmest room in the house.  He has always been able to come out within a week.  Communication is very good with them.

Joe came to my house, and then sent me an itemized quote. (In my experience, most electricians will do repair work on a Tand A basis only.) Joe was very friendly, and explained everything he would be doing. The bill actually came to less than the quoted price because one of the projects was simpler than Joe had anticipated. I highly recommend him.

T J Electric did everything well. They were excellent. Also, they even came back because when the power company hooked up the electric after it was out for 15 days it began blowing circut breakers and everything and they said I had a problem with the wiring in my house. So, they immediately came right over and checked it out and talked to the power people and said, no the problem is yours and here is why. It is surging. It was coming in and surging from the power company and so he talked to them and he explained to them how it was their problem. Then he even called me back to make sure it was fixed. I was very pleased with him.
I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to everyone.

They responded to the call quickly, quoted a price over the phone.Were available two days later to install the fan. Fan was as promised - 150 cfm Panasonic - pretty quiet.Worked neatly and quickly, nice people - price as quoted.
