Chris at Central Comfort was professional and courteous. Explained everything and even got back to me after the service with additional helpful information. A quality company.

We were converting our house from oil to gas. We decided to use Central Comfort as they had included to do ALL items related to the conversion. The project start out fine, with installation going as plan. The problem occurred when the new chimney liner needed to be installed. THIS was part of our contract and Central Comfort did have complete access to the chimney in preparing the quote. When they discovered that the chimney liner that they thought would fit could not be installed the owner expected us to pay for the increase in cost. After many weeks of lawyer emails- we ended up having to pay more than what we were quoted to get the job completed. The experience was aggravating, costly and unnecessary, if they had done a proper inspection of the chimney initially. And the way the owner handle it was extremely poor customer service.

I felt the company was a joke and we felt all they wanted was to extort money out of us. It started well - lots of promises and smiles. So we signed their agreement that included installation of gas equipment and a new AC unit, paid the deposit, agreed to ordering the equipment, set up an application with NJ gas and submitted our application for the $6,500 credit. Then everything changed. The owner knew we needed an AC unit installed as soon as possible as we were already in the middle of June and I was due with a baby in 3 weeks, he knew we had everything set up so what did he do? He called us and said he realized that he needed more money in cash from us or he was not going to install anything until September. We referred to the signed contract and previous discussions but he continued to be firm and said he wouldn't do any work until we give him an additional $2,500 in cash. This was not even a matter of money. We felt he abused the situation as we had gone through all of the key steps and needed functional equipment as soon as possible. We decided not to give him any of our business despite the urgency and all of the time lost and recommend that you follow suit and search for a more reputable and customer focused business. Project grew from repair to replacement due to age of old fan. Great crew, punctual, explained everything, great service. Responded quickly to my call and did a great job.

These guys are the best. We called them out of the blue in the middle of the winter with a furnace issue that they handled promptly and took the time to talk through the issues with me thoroughly. We called them again to help with our central air issues in our home after having a system installed by another service. Chris was very thorough, spending over an hour discussing the issues with us, options and causes of the heat we were experiencing and thoughtful solutions that they could provide as well as other suggestions on work we could have done inside the home. Such a great asset to the lake community and we will never call anyone else for our work in this space.

Needed new furnace/air conditioner and did all the work in one day. Polite and clean. Had a problem with the thermostat after they left, called and with 45 mins he returned to check and fix it.

Communication could have been better on the work they performed, what they had to do, etc, but they did a good job overall. Don't work with these guys! They did some work I asked them not too and of course charged me for it.

service magic was very helpful in expediting my service issue as far as central comfort they couldnt have been more efficient and quick to there responce back to me regarding my service issue they called me within 45 minutes explained there rate to come and evaluate there technician dave was very proficient at his job determining what needed to be replaced talking to me about it and upon my agreement installed the required part fired up my furnace tested all zones to be sure they operating i was very pleased with central comfort and in the future they will be the company to maintain my furnace and water heater.

My central air wasn't working on a hot summer day. Central Comfort was able to make an urgent call within a few hours of my call. Their technicians were very knowledgeable and I felt the price was reasonable. They also made some adjustments by opening dampers I didn't even know existed making the cooling even more efficient without charge. I definitely plan to use Central Comfort in the future!
