Unfortunately your oil burner service 3 1/2 weeks does not prevent thermostats or other parts of your system to malfunction while you are trying to flip a house. Company policy is to charge a diagnostic fee. Sorry you don't agree to this. This is why we offer flat rate pricing for you to either accept or decline our services. As for our reviews, all are real and not family members. You can go to any other platform and see an extravagant amount of 5 star reviews for our great company. Good luck flipping your house."

After calling Chris, I got an estimted ETA to check out our problem. He ran late but did show up. He was polite and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem as the AC wasn't wired correctly. He spent about 2 hours, in the blazing heat wave I should add, to remedy the problem. After living with a "problematic" Central AC unit for 6 years. We've had another company come in the past few years, but never completely fixed it. Now it's working better than it's ever worked. We would absolutely hire them again. Thei Business Card is now on the fridge with our list of "go to" contractors. Thank you Chris.

Willy gave us a good price for a used boiler.. he asked us for cash without giving a proper contract. During our communication, I said many times I want a proper contract with detail of what he would do... he kept saying “I won’t sign any contract with u, tell me what you want, I will add a few words in the work order “...yes, They will have you to sign a work order without a detailed proposal plan or contract from their own website..they told me that is how this field works... are you kidding me.. we get very professional proposal and contracts from other plumbers.. in their work order (they call that contract), they simply put less than 50 words, call it "the contract" and have you signed the website I have never heard of......I am glad I asked him to put word in the note that : only after we give the deposit to start this work.... why? because we want to meet them in person , go through the detail and then handle him the deposit, then give him a GO to start the work... however things did not go well... They removed our heater and boiler before the meet up because, according to him.. "I trust you guys"....SO without informing me about he actually went to work there and without our 1st meet up, they removed our boiler and heater...while we were trying to resolve the disagreement and write a new order, I asked him to write "No hidden terms" on the website I am signing.." They want to add a annual service check up for 250$ per year.. since the experience with them was bad enough, I do not want to use them annually.. there were tons of nice plumbers in this area... why should we use them? because we do not want take this annual check up with him... he refused to work the plan out and told us he would roll back what they have worked..— — the next day when our new plumber guy come to winterize the house.. he found that our basement is locked and the key is not in the lockbox anymore, also they found our removed broken boiler and heater are thrown right at our entrance. Yes they break it and throw them rigjht there .. without the key, the new plumber could not winterize our house on Tue, the coldest day........I called Central comfort for the key, but they told me they could not find Willy and will get back to me about the key later... right, they could not find their own guy .... no response in 24 hours.....the worst is yet to come... we found out there are 3 big holes drilled in our heat pipes... I am not gonna say anything here about who did what... but I swear to god,,,these holes were not there before Central comfort comes (we have evidence from another plumber company) and we have picture, taken by the new plumber guy, shows the new big holes drilled found yesterday. we had the house lock changed and called guys to install safety camera in the house today... in the whole process, i was yelled, threatened to the court and I feel being bullied. and now we are preparing legal actions against this company...they told me if I sue them, they will sue me for breaking the contract... sorry, the contract already said... deposit is required to start the work...before that, we have not even officially authorize you the right to get to our house and start the work. is that also a trespass? if you ask me would I recommend them? I would say,, please run away... I am really regret that to save that $1000, we decided to go with this cheaper bid from them...now we had to spend at least 5000 more just to repipe everything.... plz do your self a favor , do some research in the area and find the right one for u..

It is difficult to express just how much I enjoyed the entire experience of working with Central Comfort.
I was presented with a thoughtful and fair proposal, which was out of my budget. Instead of walking away, they came back with a solution that worked for my needs.
The execution of the work exceeded my expectations.
They demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skill with a practical approach and remained focused on my needs, the customer.
It is refreshing to find a contractor with such high standards and interests in achieving total Customer Satisfaction.

Pete checked the unit in question. Said everything looked good for an older unit. Another local service suggested I replace the unit. Honesty goes a long was now a days. Will definitely use Central as HVAC service provider.

Everything went very smoothly--Central Comfort is a NJNG approved contractor. So even though their price was slightly higher than some of the other estimates we wanted the extra peace of mind --and we're ok with that.  They found us $1150 in rebates along with prompt processing (another advantage of having an approved contractor constantly in touch with NJNG) for NJNG's hard-to-beat 5 year no interest loan for $6,500 covering most of the job along with the rebates.  In summary Central Comfort was very professional, courteous, prompt--basically everything you want in a contractor plus they are approved by NJNG.

Great work was performed and there was a billing error that they corrected when they found it leading to a large refund in the area of $300. Courtesy, honest, professional and competent. That is what I can say about CC. Im very particular about how work is done in my home. Central Comfort's attention to detail, building codes and above board practices allow me to refer and recommend them to anyone looking for a HVAC contractor. After my experience with them I changed my maintenance contract for both heat and AC to their company after having a long standing relationship with another company. I just felt more comfortable with Central Comfort.

It was a fine experience. I hunted high and low for someone to do the job, and it was a simple job.  I could've bought a new system for $60 but couldn't find someone to actually do the job. I had to have it done, however. It took less than 15 minutes total to do once I found someone.

Great group of guys.  Made the switch to natural gas and had a new gas boiler and water heater (both power vented through the basement) installed.  Chris helped me from day one and always returned my emails promptly.  Very impressed by their prices.  The amount of work I had done was double the price from the other two companies I contacted.  On the installation day, Chris, Will the owner and two other workers arrived 15 minutes early to start set up.  They were great to talk to and took the time to explain the process and the end results.  They display their pride in their work.  Highly recommend.

this is actually the 2nd time we've used central comfort. first time was in fall of 2011 for a repair. this time we needed unit replaced.
we are very pleased with this company. everyone is friendly and they do good work, and in a timely manner.
on both the fall job and this job we had several quotes, and central comforts was the best.
