"First and foremost, I never refused to reglaze the tub. Second during the mediation, she refused to have me come back and finish the job, she refused setting up a payment schedule, and demanded payment in full, She also refused to meet with my attorney to arrange a hold harmless and resolve this matter amicably. Very important, the tub was left in usable condition ad prepped for refinishing, the contractor after me, who I now work with on projects, indicated that someone else had done work on the tub after me and left it in a stained and messy condition. The tub would be refinished and this matter would have come to a close had she not tried to back charge me and worked responsibly to get her project den and had given the other contractor my information. She lied in court testifying that mold remediation had been done, when in fact Chris, the other contractor, indicated that no such work was billed nor executed. she also lied to the judge stating that she would not post negative reviews on media. I seems this woman is desperate for money and by her actions must be in a really difficult position. While in court, her boyfriend asked repetitively what materials I used. This customer canceled the completion of the job, tried to back charge me for work she discarded and had tile walls removed and replaced after i had spent two days preparing the walls, floor and tub for refinishing. she was advised that the removal of the walls and tiling would discard the work already done and that, while I could not reimburse her for the prep work done, that I would return to re-glaze upon completion of the work by the other contractor. she was also advised to have the new contractor call me to facilitate the reglaze. she told me she wanted it done right away, I advised her that I could not do the refinishing until the work was done because the tear down would damage the refinished tub and she would have to pay me to come back to repair and damage. Her response was, "That isn't my problem, he will have to pay for it. She never told the contractor who I was but described me as "Some Wierdo" and asked him to find someone to reglaze the tub. She sang a desperate song, describing her husband as ill and that she "Had to sell the house" to get her husband in a long term care facility. I offered her a fantastic price to help her save money, only to find later that she was shipping her husband out and having her "boyfriend help her with the repairs."
"I just saw this review, I can't remember this job but would like to help you with it. This was time when I had a good bit of turmoil, as my father-in law was dying on the west cost. and my time was limited. Reach out to me and I will take care of this for you."
"thank you! it was a pleasure working with you."
"thank you so much for the review!"
