Lawn Irrigation

Water Works kind of just dropped us. It was very interesting. I hired them last year. They opened and closed the irrigation system for us. They were supposed to come back this year. Last year, they were fine. I mean, they weren't very responsive last year, to be honest. I had to call like four or five times before I actually was able to make an appointment with them, to come and close the system. They were okay when I first initially contacted them to open the system, so that was good. Then, they seemed any other regular company. I don't need special things from them, just a regular, usual maintenance and opening and closing the system. So that was fine. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I told him I want them to open it this year again. So, then, it took me three weeks and I couldn't even put an appointment on the calendar. Then I gradually got upset with them and said, "Listen. Do you even still want to still service us? Because I also need some work. I have three heads that need to be replaced and there's another area that somebody needs to look at. So, I really need somebody to come." We also had put seeds down on our lawn, so we really needed the water. The woman on the phone gave me the run-around. She said, "Yeah, he'll call back" and whatever else. He never did. I called again and really complained and said, "Okay. This is the last time I'm calling." She said, "Okay, okay. I'll put you on the calendar." That was Monday. She called back the next day and I was on the calendar for that coming Friday. She called back and said, "You know what? He doesn't have any trucks in your area for awhile, so I don't think we can actually do anything right now. He can't tell when he's able to come." And I said, "You know what? You gave me the run-around for three weeks. I'm trying to be loyal to you and this is not very cool." She said, "Well, that's what he said. You have to understand, he's trying to make good with our regular customers." I"m saying, "I am your regular customer. I'm on your list." She said, "Well, that's all I can tell you. If you don't want to wait for him, then go ahead and use somebody else." And that's what I did. I just find it terrible. The price was average. Everything else was awful.
