Perfection Hardwood Floors

Nothing could be far away from Perfection than their extremely low quality job. After sanding, they left waves on my previously ideally flat hardwood floor. After varnishing, they added streaks of varnish on the top of it. Don’t even asking they applied a dark varnish making the rooms look gloomy even in a sunny day. At the beginning, Frank was very nice and showed the pictures of beautiful floors he allegedly did, but turned very nasty and even rude after finishing. When we asked him to clean streaks of varnish they left on the joints with ceramic tiles and granite, he advised us to clean it ourselves. Never hired contractors with such attitude before and would never give him any job again even for free. Cannot understand how such non-professional company collected so many 5-star reviews.

If his work is “perfection” I am Michelangelo. His crew that sanded and stained the floors and stairs left us with $ 1,700 worth of damages to the walls and wallpaper, and damage to the floor of a room I had no intention of changing that will be another bill altogether and as if this was not bad enough, they damaged the frames of 2 very expensive wall pictures that they covered using the wrong tape. Frank’s work is at best sloppy and mediocre. There are a lot of mistakes that he said he can correct, but I am afraid that if he steps in to the house again he will destroy something else. No, certainly I will not recommend him to anyone. Pictures of his ”handy work” are available for anyone who wants them. M.U

Exceptional work installing hardwood floors and refinishing existing hardwood floors.

Initially took forever for the company to contact me and schedule a service date, but the work was outstanding.   I love the floors.   The manager just needs some organizational skills training.
I initially gave them an F because I didnt think they were going to schedule the work, but they finally did so Im regrading them.

Because of too much furniture and too little storage-room the job had to be broken into two phases.   The guys from  Perfection Hardwood Floors handled this with no problem and were super careful when moving the furniture.  Their work on the hardwood floors went above and beyond, replacing a broken board and working extremely hard to remove some blackened pet stains.  The floor came our absolutely perfect.
All workers who came to the house were very professional, skillful, clean cut, super polite and always on time.
Seriously I couldn't have ask for more.  
 

UPATED REVIEW:  8 months has passed and the varnish has worn off the floor and we are back to bare wood.  Would have preferred that they offered additional coats of varnish as the 1 coat did not last very long.  Very disappointed.

Traded a few messages and work was originally scheduled for a Friday morning.  No one ever showed up, so I called and he said that he had been in the Hospital and forgot about my appointment.  Rescheduled for the following day and everything went smoothly after that.   Kitchen floor looks great!

A job well done--on time, on target, looks great.  He tried to minimize the dust as best he could; removed all debris when finished.  The stain was matched to existing wood in the house. Very little disruption to the residents during their daily lives.  Would definitely call him when doing the next job.
