It turns out he did the work improperly as the granite began to stain immediately. He came back out after I called him about the issue, and he tried to fix the countertop by sealing the granite again.  However, he sealed in the stains. He promised me a new counter after the stains were sealed in, and then he disappeared for 7 months when I tried to contact him. He refused to answer my calls or return my messages. Then I called him on my cell phone, and he did answer finally. I told him I was going to report to him consumer protection, BBB, Angie’s List, and take him to small claims court if he didn’t replace the granite countertop. Finally, he did come out and replace the counter, however it left my kitchen in a state of remodel for approximately 8 months.
