They were courteous and professional. However, the process broke down after I received a quote for approximately $14,000. I let them know as I had when they first arrived that I had no intention of putting in a window until late fall. They asked why. When I told them I had other work to be done, they wanted to know what type of work. In summary, they continued to pursue the issue, in an effort to get me to agree to an installation and I said ?no?. They then ?called their manager? as they said they were required to do and came up with another price, saying that since they were doing a bunch of installations in the area. They also offered a discount if I agreed to be a ?model house? for them and give them references. They eventually lowered the price to approximately $11,000. At this point, I told them I would think about it and get back to them. They asked how long I needed, and I said a week. They told me that they could not give me a week, and that the price was only good for that day. (They apparently wanted to ensure that I would not do my due diligence and compare products and prices). They also tried to get me to apply for credit, which I had to tell them repeatedly that I did not want. When one of the salesmen mentioned that I could always apply later, the other said I would have to do it then. (I?m sure this would have added a princely sum to their commission - thus the urgency). After the two price reductions and three hours, I decide that I would take the price and cancel within the three day rescission period if I changed my mind. They had not been gone for an hour when I decided that this was a bad idea and that I would cancel, which I did the very next day. When this much money is involved, as a rule of thumb, ?If the price is only good today, it?s best to stop and walk away?. In summary, I never found out about the quality of their work, because I was so put off by the sales experience. I felt like I was being sold a used car, and would be not be likely to deal with them again.

IT WAS A GREAT PROCESS FROM THE FIRST SALES CALL TO ACTUALLY GETTING THE JOB DONE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DEDICATED TO THEIR JOB. THEY ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS THAT WE HAD.
