Dave's AC

Needed a new thermostat. Dave installed the new one I bought earlier and secured some wires inside the AC unit. That fixed everything and the cost was less than the diagnostic / service call fee of other competitors. Dave is my new go-to guy for HVAC repairs.

It went great. Dave is a one-man operation, but highly competent in A/C work.
My system is 4 years old and started running constantly. Dave worked 3 hours to determine the issue, add Freon R410-A, check system operation, performed a dry/wet bulb test, added leak detector.
It may require more visits if the freon leaks out since it might be a small leak that occurred over 4 years since the original install which I expected as these problems can be very difficult to find.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dave if you have a problem with your A/C!

Our basement floor was wet. We found Dave's on your list and called him. He came in under half an hour. He is that rare HVAC man who believes in fixing units rather than immediately selling replacements. He checked every possible spot from which water could leak, this involved disassembling and reassembling the entire unit. He hand fed at least twenty gallons of water through the system to flush out the pipes and see where water leaked. After three hours we still had not found a leak. Dave refused to quit. All of the logical leak places exhausted, he found at last a crack in the external condensate pump housing. The problem solved, he was embarrassed at how long it had taken to find that simple leak and charged so little that we were embarrassed.
In addition: he is a lovely men, well-spoken and friendly, a pleasure to deal with. He is our HVAC man for the future and we would enthusiastically recommend him to our friends or to anyone,

As always perfect. Checks out the entire system from one end to the other, turns it on and makes sure everything is operating before leaving.

He was excellent. He was perfect. He was honest, forthright and prompt. He actually came early. He went above and beyond to get it fixed so I wouldn't have to put in a new one. He had the best price around when he had to put in a new one. I didn't need a large one because I live in a condo. He saved me over a $1,000 for the same air conditioner. He was fantastic.

Professional and respectful. I needed a new humidifier unit, but Dave attempted to save the old one, which I really appreciated. Very honest person and excellent price (including new unit) for all the work he did. Will definitely use again for anything else and would recommend him.

Called Dave last night, a/c goes off and doesn't come back on, having to go outdoors and hit reset switch. Dave was here this morning, inspected system, completely dismantled and cleaned unit, one side was blocked from air circulating. Took the time to explain a rarity with most service people, will definitely use Dave again.
