Anyways, I ended up with one of Bill's competitors who was very responsive and showed me no less than 20 apartments over the next month before I settled on one. There are good realtors in the area, don't settle for one that doesn't do their job.
"My first email conversation with Mr. [member name removed] about the local real estate market occurred over a year ago. At that time Mr. [member name removed] was unsure if he was purchasing a property alone or with another person, moving to New York, or renewing his lease. Ultimately, he renewed his lease and postponed his property search. We then resumed corresponding in Feb. 2014. I informed Mr. [member name removed] that the local housing market had changed over the past year and that now inventory was very low, that most properties were going under contract very quickly, and that it was common to experience multiple offer situations. He informed me that his lease was in place until August 2014, and he was still uncertain what type of property he was interested in and in which location. He sent me a list of properties he found of interest, all of which were under contract. I informed him of an upcoming one bedroom listing in Hoboken which I thought that he could view as a way to start familiarizing himself with the reality of the current market. He cancelled the first appointment we made to see the condo, and on that same day an offer submitted by another agent was accepted by the seller. I contacted Mr. [member name removed] to reschedule his appointment and I informed him that an offer had been accepted on the condo the first day it was on the market, but that the property was still being shown until the attorney review concluded (per the seller’s instruction). Mr. [member name removed] chose not to see the condo and he did not reply to my follow up email. Although we never actually met in person, I am disappointed that a mis-communication occurred, but I am happy to hear that Mr. [member name removed] was successful in purchasing a property and I wish him much happiness in his new home."
Bill was extremely helpful throughout the process. He has a great little team of people that helped me stage and make my place look the best it has easily looked in the nine years I owned it. The stager was by no means expensive, and with how good my place looked I recouped the cost easily!
I know when I was getting ready to sell I was worried that I wouldn't find an honest, upfront realtor that knew the process and would help me maximize my sale. Bill was amazing and was exactly that. He always responded to any phone call, text or email. He was great in keeping on me to get information. He also was extremely helpful when I moved before my sale in keeping things on deadline.
I would ABSOLUTELY 100% recommend Bill to my family and friends.
