Malfettone Electric LLC

Hired Malfettone electric llc for a 200 amp upgrade about 2 years ago. The initial installation went fast and seemed professional. They left in a rush and said everything is done! Sad part is 2 years later, I still don't have the 200amps that I paid a lot of money to Malfettone to upgrade - this is because Malfettonne did not go through with the meetings with PSE&G and Inspectors as they state in their contract. Now I'm having difficulty getting it activated because the permit expired and I'm finding out late.... Not happy

They were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them and will use them for all of my electrical needs.

I have been using Malfettone Electric for about two years now and I honestly don’t have a single complaint. I’ve had work done inside and outside my home - from recessed lighting, outlets (indoor & outdoor) exhaust fans, motion light repair (Malfettone had to repair someone else’s work) - each job was done professionally, carefully and cleanly. Mike will give suggestions - but is not pushy and the workers respect your home by always draping their entire working area with plastic (this part is super important for me!). There was even one time when I wasn’t happy with the location of an outlet and Mike (patiently :) explained why it had to be placed there and sent his worker back to make an adjustment that worked a little better for me but was still safe. I would definitely recommend Malfettone for any of your electrical needs.

Mike is terrific! He gave a thoughtful assessment of what was needed as we renovated our basement to make it a rec room, helped me figure out what the best lighting grid would be for the space, and provided a fair quote for the work. His work was excellent and he showed up on time, worked safely and well with other workers in the same space, and he did a great job on clean up. He’s worked on smaller projects for me since then and has continued to provide excellent service.

Mike and his team were very professional and their work was clean and precise. I had priced a few companies prior to contacting Mike, and he beat out the competition without any back and forth none sense. I would recommend Malfettone Electric to anyone looking for a well skilled electrician at a good price.

Mike and his team were very responsive, very professional, and truly a pleasure to have around. While they are a bit more on the pricier side, they were always on time, easy to talk to and quick to make any necessary adjustments/changes. Thanks for all the hard work.

Mike’s quote was the second lowest of four estimates received. He was very easy to communicate with, very responsive, and offered honest feedback during his site visits. His crew did a tidy job, South Orange town inspector stated the same. I will definitely use Mike and his team again for future work.

Really happy with the results. Jason was on time every day and did a significant number of updates and changes for me. We communicated well and I was able to get everything I wanted even when unexpected bumps showed up. Would work with again.

Mike is a very professional and accommodating person. He and his brother are a great team and everyone under them are extremely professional and great at what they do. Their main man Hector is top notch and knows everything about everything so ask him questions even if they don't apply to electricity as he will know the answer. I'm very satisfied with all the work they did. Their prices are fair and I know that I am getting top level service with what I'm paying for. These are not cheap contractors that do the minimum. These guys will do what it takes to make sure you are happy and everything is safe and in order. They are easy to get a hold of. The only problem now is they are becoming so popular with the bigger jobs that they may not have time for the little guys like me anymore. If you're considering working with these guys you will not go wrong. You are in good hands.

Mike and his guys are the best! Have worked with lots of contractors, electricians and plumbers and they definitely break the mold of the customer service standard for the industry. Mike got in touch and scheduled to see the project the same day and gave me a quote that was better than other electricians. Fan was installed the next day and I was able to leave the apartment while they worked. So professional, well-mannered, timely and their work is top of the line! Will work with Mike and his guys again!

The work looks good.  I'm happy with the new lighting in my condo.  His guys showed up and performed the work.  They were able to finish quickly and cleaned up the job.  I couldn't be happier with the work.
My one piece of feedback for Malfettone electric was that it was really hard to track him down to get an estimate or schedule the job.  He likes to schedule appointments over text.
