+ -1 moreIt all went very well. I rent my place and the landlord and I had an understanding to renovate the place. The only reason Basic Builders did not do the job was because we also needed painting and it was a matter of simpler paperwork to hire a contractor who would do the entire thing. But Lissa and Peter are very good. The price was very reasonable. Peter showed up at the appointed time and took the time to review the place. He made a number of cost- and labor-saving suggestions. He is clearly knowledgeable and puts thought in the work. He's quick to understand what needs to be done. Both Lissa and Peter are engineers by training and it definitely shows when they discuss different options of materials or ways of solving a given issue. They can also design a kitchen - which is a great plus because one needs to combine the practical with the aesthetics and it's not always obvious what works best. In the future, if I buy my own place and need a kitchen job, I will not hesitate to contact them.
Description of Work: I needed a kitchen renovation. I got a quick estimate from Lissa and then within a week I had an appointment for the final estimate.
