About us
We at Basic Builders are experts in designing and installing IKEA kitchens. We are certified by IKEA, and have been installing IKEA kitchens for over 15 years. We rarely use subcontractors. We are licensed by the state of NJ # 13VH01976900, are fully insured, and offer free installation estimates. Basic Builders has over 15 years experience remodeling kitchens. Husband & wife team Peter and Lissa Welles are both Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute graduates, each holding a B.S. in mechanical engineering. We call ourselves the Kitchen Engineers. At Basic Builders we take the time to get the details right. We do it all from simply installing new cabinetry, to a complete top to bottom kitchen makeover.
