Once the initial contract was signed and down payment made we were subjected to a ?bait and switch.?  We were past the time where we could try to arrange for a different company.  The movers then told us they could not pick up on the day we requested then they insisted on picking up a day earlier than we scheduled, which meant that we were not completely packed.  We had kept small items and electronics until the last day because they were ?fragile.?  The crew came in, loaded the truck with boxes without care.  Boxes were dropped, were tipped over (even though the top was clearly marked).  They tried to roll up a $5000 Stearns and
Foster mattress and put tape on it instead of boxing it as previous movers did.  Next they rushed us to pack electronics and then they began stuffing things in boxes.  They charged us for padding our furniture (I have never had a mover do this) and then they used rolls and rolls of tape, for which they charged an additional $700+. In addition, they demanded an extra $1500 to guarantee delivery within our time frame.  This was never part of the original agreement.  Next, they refused to take a credit card after we had been promised we could pay with Visa.  We had multiple phone calls with the office and finally they agreed to take a credit card for a 6% extra fee.   To add insult to injury, the crew told us that they get at least a 5% tip!  My husband was afraid to refuse for fear they would be even more careless with our belongings.  We wrote a personal check.
We had over $60,000 worth of furniture, paintings and oriental rugs in our apartment and they wanted us to claim the total value at below $5000.  The mover provided us with forms to sign that had blank spaces on them that were highlighted.  The amounts and information was never filled in on those pages and we were never given copies.  We wrote on every document that they were incomplete and that any signatures were made under duress.  (We were able to take a photo of one of the
pages and it is included with the documents here)  They now had the items on their truck and we were told we had to sign or the goods would remain on the truck and not be shipped to Georgia.
When our furniture arrived in Atlanta it was jammed into an 18 wheeler along with at least 3 other loads.  Boxes were upside down, many were crushed.  Dishpacks were underneath heavy objects.  We took photos of the truck interior and of the broken boxes as they were unloaded.  The 2 man crew that delivered said they were shocked at the condition of our boxes but stated there was nothing they could do.  They were just drivers and delivery people.  They did not load the truck.
Upon delivery we inspected items.  We had over $3,000 worth of damaged goods!  Broken dishes, lamps, a king size
headboard broken in half, a damaged European leather recliner, a damaged imported oriental rug and more.  We filed a claim with Chase bank because we paid the initial pick up fee by credit card.  Chase attempted to resolve the matter but All
Inclusive refused.

Since filing our claim, the moving company refuses to settle.  They say they fulfilled their obligation, we signed off on papers (even though we wrote all over them that they were not proper and they were signed under duress).

We have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and we have posted complaints on Craig?s list and other web based search engines.  We contacted The Department of Transportation and the New Jersey Attorney General.  All Inclusive has had multiple other claims and complaints filed against them so this is obviously the way they carelessly do business.
