Rick Sr, Rick Jr and their team were very professional. Rick Sr. came to my house for the initial estimate in which he also provided a packet which contained the details of the job: the estimate, design diagram and copies of his licensure. Prior to the start of the job we had added on a couple changes to the original plan in which he came back to the house to review what we wanted and it was added without a problem. There was complete communication throughout the installation. As the project took place we had also added/modified a few more changes which also were completed without any complaints. The team arrived on time and cleaned the area each day before they left. I have already recommended them to a few of my friends and would not have any hesitation hiring them again for any future projects.
"Have completed many medium and small landscape jobs for ms. (Member name removed) over the past 7-8 years, and have always responded to any problems, even replacing many trees years ago, at our expense, which were voided under warranty due to lack of watering. A few of the 60 plus leyland cypresses which were planted aprox. 7 years ago and are now 15-20 feet tall were damaged after superstorm sandy and the subsequent snowstorm. (Member name removed) called after the storms and stated a few of the large trees were now leaning. She was advised that it would be difficult to impossible to rectify this due to there size and area planted. Additionally she was advised some of the trees may die in the next year due to compromised root bases. She was insistent that we try anyway. We did attempt the best we could to tie them back, to fences, other trees, etc. This was done at basically our cost, for materials and employees labor , with the understanding that the tie backs may not work. Our company, like most landscape/hardscape companies, shut down during the winter months. We were closed this past year from 01/ 01/13 to 03/25/13. (Member name removed) , having used us many times in the past is aware of our closing down during the winter. The calls she placed to us during january and february were unanswered due to our closing down. We now have learned , based on this review that, that she had someone else attempt to tie the trees back again on 03/13/13, while we were closed We feel this is an unfair negative review based on the fact the work was not warrantied and we were knowingly shut down during the time (Member name removed) was calling us. Our service is not only the same, but we strive to improve each year. (Member name removed) even indicated in her review she would hire us again."
