Christopher C.
Apr 2013
bought home in whispering meadows for $700,000 in June 2012.From the start I complained of the flooring, the attic stairs and the front porch overhang leaking to the point the cement they poured was cracking and staining.
after different workers tried to fix the issues and on many many occasions I took off work to let people in that NEVER showed up and did not call, I had back and front porches redone with stone.
After 2 months the stone sunk because the overhang was leaking so much water that I had to pay to install gutters to slow the leaking process and save the new stone.
Paramount refused to fix saying there is nothing wrong!
Buyers here better be careful and pay attention to details before you close.
Other homes have told me of warped walls and poor drainage but I have not had those issues yet.
It will cost me $10-12 thousand to fix this issue.

Response from PARAMOUNT HOMES
"Paramount Homes has a long-standing history of being a quality home-builder in Central New Jersey. Paramount has closed over 700 homes over the past 18 years and we are very proud of the quality of our workmanship and our high-level of customer satisfaction overall. With respect to (deleted member name) complaints: Flooring (deleted member name) noted 7 hardwood boards at his closing walk the day before the close. We replaced these 7 boards post-closing. As a courtesy, we also replaced numerous others. Porch Overhang We offered to install gutters on the Portico roof at (deleted member name) request, however in the interim (deleted member name) had one of his own contractors install the gutters. It should be noted that we are only talking about 20 feet of gutters as the remedy to (deleted member name) concern. Attic Stairs We replaced the attic stairs at (deleted member name) request. Sunken Stone (deleted member name) hired his own contractor to replace the front porch that we installed, with pavers. Apparently, he is now having an issue with this porch sinking. This is obviously the result of the work performed by his paving contractor as the porch we installed has been replaced. If should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office. Thank you."
