 + -1 moreHow did it go? Not well. Sean Radcliffe and his English Craftsmen are a bunch of amateur handymen at best. Finally had to bring in professionals to finish this job properly. Run far away from these guys.

 + -1 moreNothing- just run away with a deposit for work never performed.
Description of Work: Ran away with 6k deposit- no work done- won't return calls, emails or texts. Sean Radcliffe of English Craftsmen was contracted to draw plans for a home renovation and to perform the work. He was paid separately for the plans. The plans were denied twice without him ever speaking to the town to learn what the regulations were. After proposing the cost and signing a contract with my lender and myself he requested a 25-30k cash to get the projected started as he didn't have the money to start the job he had signed the contract to do. Sean refused to speak with the lender to attempt to adjust the draw schedule to make things work. After learning from the town (after two months of his incompetence) that the plans he drew twice still didn't comply with simple zoning laws in place for over six years, the contract was terminated. Sean Radcliffe has refused to retun calls, emails or texts to return the 6k deposit (claimed he needed it for permits so he's be ready to start when the town approved his non-compliant plans) and pick up his lawn sign and samples. Beware of working with Sean Radcliffe and English Craftsmen!
