"This customer started and stopped the job several times with no warnings. I made every attempt to keep the job going. It seemed like it was a financial issue as they would put me off for weeks at a time. He blind sighted me with false accusations of not returning. He did take me to court but did not show up. He paid me according to the contract, which I well exceeded in work preformed."
On the first day Kevin and Travis ripped out my old 1980's bath down to the studs. They then remodeled the entire bathroom.
They did a beautiful job. Kevin is a highly skilled craftsman who wants to get the job done right. He is easy to work with and offers worthwhile suggestions based on his experience.
In two weeks I went from an outdated bathroom with a fiberglass tub enclosure to a beautiful modern bath with a completely tiled 5ft long shower with beautiful shower doors and a rain shower head as well as a regular shower head. Excellent Job. Couldn't be happier with the work. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price.
When you start a project in an old house, you always have to expected unforeseen issues and their cost.
The great thing about working with Kevin he did not nickel and dime for every little thing and work with us to make adjustment to keep those issues from busting our budget.
Kevin did a great job. The quality of the work was excellent. He was very hands on and made sure we informed about the whole project.
He really did care that the job was done right and that we were happy with the job.
We have gotten so many complements on our new kitchen and bathroom.
Kevin and his son were terrific, very professional and cooperative. Kevin is a real nice guy and easy to deal with and his price was reasonable. I have recommended him to a few people already. My wife and I are real happy with our new master bathroom. I will definitely use him again in the future.
Kevin Coposky is a thorough professional. How lucky to have found him on Angie's List. We chose him over four other bidders. Every aspect of work was executed with care. His son, Travis, and every sub-contractor he brought in, reflected the same professionalism and integrity. With such an extensive amount of work, there are bound to be bumps along the way. But they were not because of Kevin. He promised to dedicate himself to our project and he did. When we experienced some of those "bumps," he adjusted his schedule to ensure that the pace continued smoothly. We purchased tile flooring from Home Depot and did not notice that the sku's did not match 100 percent. Kevin went back to the store and when he could not find the exact size, he cut and laid the tile with care and precision (without extra charge). Before choosing Kevin, we read other Angie's List reviews and found one that complimented him for cleaning up after each work day. Our experience confirms that. With all of the mess generated by our project, taking down walls and ceilings, replacing old fixtures, etc., we found that whenever we walked into the house after he left, the place was swept clean and free of debris. We enjoyed working with him and his team. We are enjoying the results of their efforts. In short, we are very pleased with the outcome of the project and will definitely use him again.
"We were employed to install engineered flooring, Customer picked out and purchased thru Lowes. As a courtesy to customer we picked up because he was out of town. As we laid the last 3 cartons of the job of the floor, we noticed that the dye lot was a different color although the skew numbers matched. Being customer was still out of town, we returned the cartons, reordered the last 3 boxes. Lowes assured us that the new dye lot would match, We again returned to Lowes and picked up as a courtesy to pick up the new boxes. The flooring matched, including skew numbers (during daylight hours while being installed). Customer called 5 days after job was completed to say they were unhappy with the last portion of the floor where the 3 boxes were installed, We directed them to Lowes to solve problem of dye color. Even though we made several trips back to Lowes, halting the progress of work, at no charge, it is the customers responsibility to follow up. Customer stated that this is our problem. Coposky Contracting cannot assume responsibility of quality of material that we do not personally order thru our suppliers. We pride ourselves in cleanliness. We swept and used the Swiffer on the floors. The floors chosen are very dark and will show dirt and dust. We make every attempt to satisfy all customers. Feel we went over and above by offering to return to reinstall the flooring the customer felt matched once it onsite, free of charge (which will require us removing the current area of flooring and reinstalling the new) although it was out of our control and the job was completed. This customer has not paid a large some of funds still owed. Even after offering to return to replace the flooring, customer has not agreed and we have not received payment. The last action we would ever want to take is placing a lien on the property. This is certainly the last resort and hopefully can be avoided."
