everything went smooth on replacing the countertops. I would recommend them anytime. I have had other experience with other companies that was horrible. You get what you pay for. The craftsmanship of BCG was great. From the office staff , the template guy, and install team, they all are very nice and professional. We couldn't be happier with the work they did.

The experience from start to finish was first class. There was an issue with the slab that was our giant one piece island. It was taken care of and the company wanted to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. I would recommend BCG to anyone and everyone

Everyone there was great to deal with...from Paolo to Gabriella to Jenn. The installers were very efficient ,neat & clean. There was one little glitch and they will fix that next week with no questions asked. From my first call to the last they walked me thru the process and answered my questions with a smile. I will gladly use them when I am ready for kitchen counters. Thanks BCG

Everyone we dealt with at BCG was very professional, pleasant and easy to work with.  We had originally contacted BCG because of an Angie's List deal and reading the reviews, and went to discuss material with them.  In the end we didn't use the Angie's List deal, and ordered directly from BCG.  We made a sketch of what we needed and took that down to their showroom, and they were able to give us approximate pricing.  We looked at the granite samples there and chose a material that we liked.  Then we went to the warehouse to select the actual slab that we would get.  Then BCG came to the house to make a detailed template of the shapes we needed, and he also gave us advice on what needed to be done to prepare for the installation.  We went back to BCG to see how the templates would fit on the slab of granite we had chosen and decide the best arrangement.  The installation was scheduled for a few days later, and we were very pleased with the results.  The seams are invisible, and everything fit exactly as planned.  The whole process took between 2 and 3 weeks.  We would definitely use BCG again.

Fast, clean & very personable. Even brought me a spare sink to be hooked up when cabinets were installed so I would have a working sink when he measured for the countertops...Very accomadating, would definitely use them again

The project was done in two stages. The first was a new countertop for the center island to accommodate a new cooktop. Initially this was to be as far as we would go for now.  However, the results were so excellent and there were additional slabs of the same granite still available that we decided to do the rest of the kitchen now.
While the center island was a single piece for the countertop, the rest of the kitchen was more complex. There was a large L-shaped countertop required for the sink/dishwasher area that required three pieces of granite, a separate area next to the ovens, the butler's pantry and finally a desk area with attached hutches - eight pieces of granite all together.
The first step was measuring for each piece.  BCG sent someone who did this a created templates for each piece.  Every detail was discussed such as where corners were rounded or square, where overhangs were extended to line up with the backsplash so it would not hit on the rounded edge (the backsplash was tile to be installed after the countertops).
We then visited BCG and discussed where each piece should be cut from the slab. This was done so the best grains were in the pieces most visible and to match grains on pieces that were epoxied together.
BCG then installed the countertops and caulking them in place. They did a terrific job.  You have to know where the seems are to find them and all counters fit beautifully.

BCG's Hackensack office provided the granite cutting and installation for our kitchen renovation.  From templating to layout to installation, we were impressed with the level of detail involved in the whole granite process that BCG provided. After a detailed template is made at your home, you are invited to visit the site and layout your template on your chosen granite. Recommendations are made and the customer signs off on all aspects of the job before each step is taken. The installation went perfectly as the installers were very conscious of the details of our particular job.  They also have the specialized moving equipment for carrying the heavy granite into the house. They provide a stainless steel sink of your choice or if you provide your own custom sink (as we did) They will install your custom sink onsite. Any necessary minor cuts are also done in place onsite so that they are made to fit exactly.  I would highly recommend them to other Angie's list members. BCG was recommended to us by designer consultant Steven Anger at Counters 'N Tile in Wayne and the granite slabs were provided by Everest Marble in Clifton (both to be reviewed separately)..

Everyone we came into contact with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  Very thorough and responsive from start to finish.  Install went well and my kitchen looks beautiful.  They even made me a small table out of the scrap they cut out for the cooktop!

Excellent. We we're restoring our shore house that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. The original kitchen contractor incorrectly installed the counter top after the kitchen damage was remediated. Cabinet drawers would not open or close and the counter height was too low versus its original design. This was a high end European cabinet design rendered useless by the original contractor. Enter Paolo from BCG. He responded timely, professionally and honestly assessed our situation with the risk of counter damage on removal and reinstallation. Paolo had removed about 100 counter tops and he successfully reinstalled ours. Needless to stay we are ecstatic to have our high end kitchen back and functional. Thank you Paolo and Angie's List as we need to be careful selecting contractors and especially in storm damage areas where unscrupulous contractors take advantage of those that are already hurting. Couldn't have done this without Angie and Paolo.
